Me and Disposable-Hero have decided to host a small modeling competition, with actual prize money going to the winner.

The prize will be £10, and will be decided by 4 impartial judges. Models must be painted, but the focus is on modeling, not painting. Any GW game may be used, not just the standard three. Specialist games are encouraged. All models must also be a solo effort by the competitor.

The competition will not go ahead unless we have more than 5 entrants, so invite your friends. ...

1. dont use peices that arent in the style of your convert e.g i got a converted destroyer off ebay with 2 guass cannons (nice) and 2 chaos chainswords with the hands still attatched (no)
2. green stuff is good for securing awkward joints
3. plan ahead, dont start till u hav at least a vague idea of how your finished model will look like
4. keep in mind the material your working with, metal bends but snaps, plastic only bends if melted but is easy to cut and glue

the shape of the box inspired me tho
