My current necron army list

jst spent a while adding up the p[oint cost of my army n such
i no tht to play a legal bettle i need 3 more warriors n another destroyer
but seeing as i put in the time i thought i might as well post my army list on here

Necron Warriors x17 = 136
Flayed ones w/D field x5 = 105
Immortals x7 = 196
Destroyers x2 = 100
Scarabs x3 = 36
Monolith x1 = 235

Necron Lord x1 = 100 *(+ 100 + 10)
*Wargear
+ Warscythe = 10

+ Res Orb = 40
+ phylactery = 15
+ Phase Shifter = 30
+ Gaze of flame = 15

Total = 1018

is pretty good so far

i was talkng to some friends of mine today, and (thay play necrons) i suggested, necron mounts. necrons on tomb king horses painted silver (whatever colour your necrons are)

Necrons can have mounts? O_o That's news to me... Also, Tom, what happened with Friday, no one turned up!

i mean your not quite grasping the idea of paying converted models, in any other arms, a mount/bike adds 1 to toughness and makes em faster. an as forfriday, not a clue

Yea but in GW they wont let u use then will they? Necrons can't have mounts and they don't let u use illegal things there =(

their added toughness wouldnt be worth the time n money it'd take but it'd b fun n look gd
i think i want more flayed ones now
they would combine with my nightbringer to make a tough, deadly first wave while the bulk of my forces use ranged
by the time they get thru the first wave the monolith will be on em, n i can then teleport in the rest of my troops

That sounds terrifying, at least my Iron Warriors will have some chance at beating them. AP 2 Firepower en masse for me!

they do in your own games afterwars as lng as all players are agreed ad tey are games workshop or forge world models. however, you arent allowed to use 2 codex in a beginners game...

i cant use my demons and chaos space marines n the same army, using both codex, only one of em.

Do what I do, fold the foam over and put it in a bag ^_^ Or stuff them into some boxes with tissue, but other than that the mounts sound awesome!

Hmm, i'm not sure, maybe you could look on-line for some 28mm mechanical horses? Or something else mechanical they could ride?
