Not sure, but orks reproduce by giving off spores that they release due to bloodlust and excitement caused by fighting, as opposed to humans, which reproduce by giving off sperm that they release due to lust and excitement...

It isn't due to lust, it's due to them dying.... they are based on fungus and when they die they release spores that grow into new boyz, they do not have female orks as they are a one gender species.

The old ones made them to be the ultimate fighting machine, they love to fight and don't mind dying and reproduce when they die, perfect for making more and more!
