Having gotten back into Total Annihilation again after a few years ive been musing over fluffing up an army around them. For those that dont know TA was an RTS game made in 1996 which became rather popular. Wikipedia it if you want more info.

I plan to stat both Vanilla factions CORE and ARM, i aim to get ARM done first since thats who i play.

The armies are split up into minor categories too, with there being 4 Tiers of units and 6 types, each type/tier combination can be its own army, and you can even mix tiers, and mix types (at a cost) (the 4th tier is added in a beta expansion, cavedog no longer own the rights to TA so the expansion was largely unfinished.)

The Types are: Walkers, Tanks, Aircraft. (and what we wont be using: Ships, Seaplanes, Hovercraft See: Bloodied Shores a TotalA 40k Expansion.)
The Tiers are: Normal, Advanced, Experimental. (One experimental is included in the beginners pack, the other experimental units and the "Classified" unit will be in an un-named expansion)

Im currently working on this at the moment, if you guys have any ideas feel free to drop them in.

Commander
Heavily Armored HQ Unit
(im thinking AV 14 all sides, or AV 15 Front/sides, AV10 back)

Armed with 1 Medium Laser and a Disintegrator Gun
(Medium Laser comparable to a single shot Hellgun perhaps?)
(D-Gun, D class gun with either one shot per match or a long reload)

Equipment: Expansive Network.
(Expansive Network, not too sure what to do besides its link to Tiny Radar)

Wargear: Tiny Radar, Large Nanolathe, Cloaking Device.
(Tiny Radar, a 6" (or 3"?) area around the commander all rolls to hit against enemies in this area get +1)
(Large Nanolathe, On a roll of 4+ removes damage from the target, can be used to recover a corpse. if a corpse is recovered its only worth 1/2 points to the opponents kill points)
(Cloaking device will be very, very high points cost, and will function as a slightly better cloak than the Tau ones, there will be 2 versions, one covering the commander standing still, the other covering it moving as well, "Advanced cloaking device"?)

Special Rules:Explosive death, Fearless.
(Explosive death, all vehicle destroyed results count as "vehicle explodes" using the following stats: Lrg Blast, S4 AP 5. 1d3 units in the area take S8 AP4 hit from large debris)

Walkers
Tier1
Peewee
(a small Kbot, AV 8, 6, 5 FSB. Probably look at a low(ish) BS)

Armed with a pair of "EMG"'s which are burst fire plasma shells, they each fire 3 rounds a turn. ill probably look at making this somewhere between a slugga and a lasgun in damage.)


Warrior
(an "Assault" kbot which sits towards the top end of Tier 1 AV 10,10,8.)

Armed with 1x Medium Laser and 1x EMG

Rocko
(another weakish walker like the peewee however this one has higher accuracy)

Armed with 1x Small Rocket launcher
(rockets and missiles will be differnt weapons, missiles will show up later, for now the rocket launcher is a midrange damage weapon, comparable to... a bolter i think.)

Hammer
(sits between the Rocko and the peewee in armor although probably closer to the peewee)

Armed with 2x Plasma Cannon's
(which is a long range single shot weapon it probably sits just under krak missiles in terms of potency.)

Flea
(Scout Kbot, very light armor, fast too)

Armed with 2 x small laser.
(comparable to a lasgun perhaps)

Thats all the Tier 1 ARM Kbots.
