Worse codex I've seen is Chaos Daemons I can't make sense of it. But Nailz Chaos do have the most awesomest chocolatey fudge coated models cos they are very spiky and awesome.

Old nid codex - eh, could be worse.
Dark Eldar codex - lovely. Everything's where it should be.
Chaos codex (both) - wtf is this shit?
DH codex - not too bad.

otherwise, erm... winged demon prince and kharn, kharn is pure awesome, and winged demon princes with mark of zeench, bolt of change, and gift of chaos are somewhat unbeatable.

no for black legion, im including khorne and hopefully at some point thousand suns into one whole black legion, and abbadon is kick ass, plus a daemon price would be very hard to beat, i think ?

a winged tzeentch demon prince falls to no man, (3+ armour 4+ invun, two spells, monstrous creature, moves as jump infantry) pretty good methinks,

well.. black legion are technically undivided, but boring as shit to paint honestly, they follow abbadon who has been blessed by all four chaos gods, teres nothing (other than a large point cost,) stopping you having two demon princes... might be worth a look at doing that

aye, but EVERY chaos noob does black legion, and regrets it later on, if you wanted to do a cool scheme look at alpha legion, the bleak brotherhood or night lords but simplify it at first, so you can go back and detail it when you get better

also take a look at this.

Daemon prince = 110 points
+ wings 20 points
+ mark of tzeench 20 points
+gift of chaos 30 points
+bolt of change 25 points

205 points, *2 =410 point

abbadon +kharn = 440.

The new princes are epic beyond comprehension

abbadon isn't that good, he's a fire magnet much, and if they have any AP 1 stuff, abbadon go bye bye pretty quickly,

unless your being technical about th fluff and not s technical about the rues, then he gets to use the effect of all 4 types of demon weapon (which is WAY ott)

then he gets shot and dies even faster,

Hell yeah You know what I'm gonna do? Get an assault squad give them as many meltaguns as I can. Remove the jump packs so I get -35 points off any transport. Put them in a drop pod with locator beacon and go tank huntin'.
