Announcement: Macragge

For those of you who took part in the summer of war competition last summer you will know that as I was the winner I won the old GW Macragge game table. Poor Ultraslayer nearly cried and he even cheated to get to the same level as me. Well anyhoo i'm putting it forward that as of the end of this august I will be living in my new house where there is enough living area to play on the damn thing.

Any participants want to come and join in?

Yeah, sure. I'm in if enough others are.

Ok its large but can only really fit 2 players on i've also devised a campaign to play on it

You have my Gauss weapons (bows) I will fight on such a table with great joy...

I might be in, depends when the tourney is, I might be in Devon, Japan or in the Lakes when it is xD

i'll be posting the campaign pretty soon as its not conventional to a standard annihilation game

good, I love a campaign with a narrative.
Remember, I'm allways here to write a story for an intro or the like, I know that I say it everytime but its what I'm good at

By campaign I meant rules, just in case you understood that correctly. Also I don't think a story is possible here as theres already a story of macragge I suppose you could write a prose on this short skirmish but thats really up to you

Just because Macragge is most famous for the battle against the Tyranids doesnt not mean that it was the only battle fouaght there. In the future the necrons will have every planet

Ah yes and speaking of necrons I will permit a separate campaign involving necrons just because they are awesome

Hmm, anyone got that thing where you built a board out of hexes and then fought for control of it bit by bit? Planetary empires? I think it could be a laugh.

No one will play that with me because they say it takes to long. We should have a leagion campagin on it and meet up every week or somthing

Or different sectors of ultramar that would be good because macragge is a planet in the system

Yer, each tile is a diffrent area of the planet with forces invaiding from each tile to neibouring ones. LIke the Dark Crusade Campaign on Dawn of War if you have ever played that

I think ultramar would be better cos it contains various planets and we only have one game table of macragge the rest could be played at the GW itself

Hmm. I'm seeing potential for a world, or even country map here. If we get the right terrain (shitloads of cityfight), maybe even a space station.

Would make a good computer game.

Sounds good but we'd need a lot of specific tables which means lots of monies out of our pockets but then again if somehow we all got our own table excluding me of course then we could have a good long weekly campaign

I only have a mat, hill and a group of walls and hedges. I can place dead tanks and stuff to reprasent a former battle ground and bodies if need be
