I've enlisted a few people around the interwebs to help, so it shouldn't take too long. Also, my birthday soon, so I might be able to get a shitload of mantic stuff.

From what I see it looks pretty cool. I'm reading through the Undead section now and I like what i see. Hope you do get round to finishing it

Well, I wouldn't mind some help doing so. Just fluff, testing, pictures and 2 more armies are needed.

My Vampire Counts are at your service for test games and so on.
That is assuming you intend to use GW models for it, they would be good for the undead...

It was actually based of the Mantic models, with GW models filling in where I couldn't find Mantic models to fill the needed things. Very well, I have many high elves, so we can try it out. I have prom this Friday, but the Sunday should be free. Meet at Fanboy, try it out?

Well, around 1 is cool. I'll have a well-earned lie-in. Got any ideas for a couple more armies? By the way, bring enough to make 750 points of Bladecaster in something. We'll probably play 500, but it's nice to be able to vary.

How about a human race? Every major fantasy game has some humans trying to scratch a living in a hostile world.

Hmm, I guess so. What should they excel in? Obviously, the undead win at sheer numbers, the elves at skill and the forgotten at magic, but what about the others?

I would say they say that Humans should be able to stand their ground. They should excel in standing back in a difensive line and allowing the enermy to smash against them. However, should a chink appear in their line then they are in real trouble due to a low form of moral (A special rule that lowers moral when things go bad?)

Good plan. I can have a special rule that helps them fight in defense, maybe let them injure their attackers if they roll a 1 to attack? And the morale thing I can cover by making them take fear tests if they see too many human deaths in a turn.

Sounds like a plan and I really need to get a job...
If you want I can do some backstory writing for Bladecaster to help set the scene. Not sure what I'm thinking yet but working on it.

Aye, friday after 4.30 are good, and I think I'm free all sunday. I'll check. Bring plenty of stuff - I'm going to be able to bring my Bladecaster on Sunday, but only my cards on Friday - I'm not carrying my bag all the way from Piccadilly to the Uni and back.
