The Nurgle Marines

This is a backstory to my marines turning NURGLE!
im not a expert like the guys who write the books but here i go


The Motok marines received a distress call from the local planets of a chaos up-rise in the Iron Forge city. This city is the pride and joy of the system and is heavily guarded by the imperiums most loyal soldiers. Yes the imperial guardsmen in this system have the willpower of a space marine and cannot be broken by such heresy. But yet it was a shock to yodoime that the great city Iron Forge came under attack from heresy. Yodoime was a outstanding space marine captain who had lead many battles against the forces of chaos on local planets. These where only in local towns and small city's that had fallen to this taint. As a squad of scouts on bikes drew close to the city screams of pain and the smell of rotting corpses flooded there insides. The Instant call for backup was issued and over 100 of Motoks best thunderhawk gunships swarmed over the massive city dodging the local anti-air defenses turned on them. Yodoimes thunderhawk gunship was shot out of the air by a biological type of shot bursting its engine. The ship crashed into a large imperial guardsmen barracks turned into what looked like a refugee hide out. Yodoime emerged from the downed ship with 3 other marines, "Spread out get a lock on that hallway.....Sai Scan the area for hostiles......Kekie get on the com see if you can find any marines in the vicinity. At The City gates Demolisher shells pounded the great gates with unmatched force, then the gates fell and a horde of cultists and corrupt civilians poured out of the city like blood from a open wound. Shells and bolter fire reined down upon the horde ripping them apart. Predators and Rhinos blazed into the city deploying shock troopers to the local baths,halls and governing offices. "What is the status on retrieval Kekie?","No signal looks like we will have to make our own way out". The thunder hawk had crashed straight into the barracks and into the armory underground, the only way out was thought the smugglers tunnels and the marines could only just about fit. A Nurgle Champion stood upon a crushed statue of the emperor looking down upon the city, Returning inside the Imperial becon station the champion of nurgle praised his god and commanded bands of nugle guardsmen to wipe out any space marines in the sector....knowing space marine armor is thick he ordered them to use leman russ tanks. The Tanks had biological organisms growing on them tentacle like arms grew on the sides of the tanks swaying violently.

Yodoime and his squad moved through the tunnels quietly and swiftly. He order one of his marines to stay at the thunder hawk and see if any help would come then alert them. Now it was only Sai Kekie and Yodoime in these tunnels unaware of what was coming. In the underground cultist attempted to summon a large nurgle force using warp powers. 40 of them chanted in a open cave under a portal worshipping nurgle. On the ground the marines in predators and rhinos came underfire from artillery upon the hill firing biological rounds into the tanks melting the metal and killing many in the process. There was much resistance from Cultist,Civilians and even corrupt guardsmen. A space marine upon the bolter gun on a rhino caught a glimpse of some imperial guardsmen looking like they where trying to rip there chests open, At that moment one of them fired his lasgun at the other but he just stood up and where the wound had been what looked like a infection grew in its place. The guardsmen screamed in pain asking for them to kill him but he just kept getting up until the marine opened fire and the explosive round killed the guardsmen. A swarm of cultists jumped upon the rhino and pulled the marine out, tearing him limb from limb,blood gushed into the rhino and the drivers where drowned in blood. Undeground Yodoime stumbled upon the cultists attempting to open the warp portal. He order Sai to flank left and Kekie to flank right. When Kekie was about to give the order to attack Kekie walked out in plain sight of the cultists dropping his bolter and slowly walking to the Warp portal. He started to chant, Yodoime contacted Kekie on the com in hopes of him recalling but he just continued to walk towards it. One of the cultists ran up to him and attempted to stab him in the chest but Sai took one shot and splashed his blood all over Kekie, Starting to lick the blood of the cultist Kekie was insane and it looked like the forces of chaos had corrupt him at that one single moment. Yodoime order Sai To shoot Kekie but as he went to take a shot four cultists that had been hiding jumped on Sai and repeatedly stabbed him in the head forces holes to appear. Yodoime ran straight to Sai attempting to save him but when he reached him he was dead drowned by his own blood or killed by his stabs to the head. A small ball appeared from the small warp portal like a wisp moving around. It headed towards Kekie and entered his body though his skull. He was Screaming and hitting his head in pain but laughing at the same time.... Yodoime knew this wasn't just any Warp Portal that had just appeared wile the city was under attack...This had been here for months unknown slowly causing corruption and riots within the city and then soon reaching the power behind the city....The Wisp like orb came out of Kekie decaying his body in a second the wisp then flew towards Yodoime and went straight into his wounds on his leg. He could hear the screams of all the civilians and guardsmen that had fallen to chaos in the city he could feel there pain......the burning the death.....he....refused to give in......he could feel fire burning though his vains he screamed out in pain grabbing his skull....then he lost all control of his body...he blacked out......When he awoke all the cultists in the room had been killed by bolter fire and his wounds had infection like moss growing from it he had no idea who he was but all he knew was that he had to serve ...Nurgle.....{End}

try to split it up a bit more, its a bit too wall like for my tastes
