Since this section needed something useful, I shall put useful things in it.

Wizards do an online version of the magic card game. It's good, since it stays true to the game, and keeps up-to-date with all the newest card releases.

You can download it from their website here.

I recomend just using it for the free trial games, don't buy it, since that costs a tenner, and then you have to buy virtual cards for real money, which is very expensive and a bit shit.

The free trial games feature pre-built decks from the Magic 2010 set (ie the ones I, Unclean and some others bought) so you'll be using cards you're familiar with.

It's also good for a dick-about to learn the rules properly.

Hmm.... There isn't a single player version unless you can make it so we can play each other?

You could just play the trial, name the game when you create it, and make sure you get the person you wanna play against to join. Have to organise it through MSN or something.

Making an online game is fairly easy the hardest part would be documenting all the cards and applying their rules.

Of course if you're playing with people who already know the game then you can just have some kind of basic UI and a menu to select cards.

Same with mine, I can build a first person shooter, but a card game is beyond me. All the interactions, and the human knowledge required is beyond me.

I was thinking why dont you make the basic but so we can input cards and images so you dont have to do the work
