New nids.

i have aquired some new nids.
everybody knows my love of the alien films... should i do my nids like this?

i think their too detailed, the original alien head was never that detailed
i think i'm only gonna do that on srealers anyway, they have the skeletal figure to pull it off. i know exactly how to paint them tough.

not exactly, their a bit too mulicoluored, i know i paint em myself but they look like they should be multicoloured too. (plus there is the cash to consider, and green stuff is much cheaper)

as for anyone interested, i got the rest of my nid armytoday, in the old codex it nears 2000 points i recon, it has, two fex's countless gaunts and hormagaunts, no less than 20 genestealers, 9 gargoyles, 8 warriors a biovore, and a hive tyrant.

In the new codex, that'll be around 40 points

Holyshit *Double facepalm*, Tyrgons are so much better point wise and point to power ratio.... also, you NEED to get the doom of malantai and a drop spore thingy, this combo is WINNAGE!

Hormagaunts are better than ever!! I have a carnifex called Bill and he likes to kill land raiders

they used to be able to move a max 24 inches in a turn...
now its a max 18

What? Some dark eldar can move 24" in a turn, but not gaunts?

Carnifexes are stronger than Trygons but as Will said, do not use them. If you get the nex dex, it has a large fex like creature in it called the Tervigon that spawns gaunts and has 6 wounds and can be taken as troops. Convert the two. So yeah, they are basically fexes with large bellies for spawning gaunts once per game.

tervigons are crap, you roll a double on 3D6 it can't spawn any more.

It's still semi-decent, but the trygon, is in comparison better than the fex

Faster and more attacks but definately not a strong as the 'fex.
