Okay guize, here's the deal.

We make the best 1000 point army we can.

Must be a legal army. I will run it and also compete in it. You must have the codex (or know it). THIS IS A KNOCK OUT TOURNAMENT.

Counts as models allowed.

I need a list of all the players who are in so I can draw up a table of who goes against who. I will also have the map of the galaxy to show who is most likely to go against who and where we are.

Any suggestions to what days we can run it would be much appreciated.

I was thinking not entire proxy armies but stuff like a rhino as a vindicator, you know, similar size but wrong model

Similar things, maybe. So, for example, an eldar jetbike could be used as a dark eldar jetbike, but no "This ork is a bike" kind of thing.

Oh hey, if you want I could wright a sort of background story for the torny to show why our races are present in it. I'll of course need to know whos in it and any special names you have for your squads but I think it will add more debth to it. I'll also do the last battle in detal and post it on my fanfiction site for the world to see

So, what's the scale of the counts as rule? I am interested, but I want to make sure that if somebody's fielding bikers, they at least have bikes, or an attempt. Same goes for leaders, they have to look leadery.

agreed, I'm fine with say missing parts so long as its not needed for the model. For example, my tomb spider as the ranged weapon upgrade but the piece tends to fall off on the way to GW so I accept that.
Another Q: You say that its 1000p but would it be OK if my army is 1008p because Necron Units are expensive and the cheapest unit I use is a full 18p per man?

Tell you what, I'll hit 992, for balance. Somehow, that is balanced.

But than if i face you you will have 16p diffrence. I can drop a warrior if i have to so its nothing major. only problem is that i will be 10p low

Dude, if 16 points matters, I'll get 2 more warriors, they're 7 each. If 2 points then matters, I'll get pistols & CC weapons.
