Lego wargame

It's designed around lego, for obvious reasons (lego is awesome), and is ridiculously simple. Plus, the fact that is uses lego means you can redesign the map during play, even blowing up bits of buildings and using the wreckage to build your own stuff, mid-game. The rulebook is also actually funny, and there's a few supplements on the website for more complicated play, which I, for one, can't be arsed with. Even so, everything is simplified down to small melee, medium melee, or big melee, and short ranged, long ranged, and fuckhueg guns.
The rulebook is seriously a pleasure to read, with such quotes as "The trappings of reality become 'realistik' when translated into BrikWars' realms: bricks become 'Brix,' a mechanic becomes a 'Mechanik,' and unconscionable and horrifying ultraviolence becomes 'Awesome'", and also the legal disclaimer. No, read it. It's brilliant.
The rules took me a few minutes to learn, it revolves around "Move. Measure range. Are you in range? Roll a d6, get a high number. Now do that again. Good, it's dead". Heroes and vehicles make it more complicated, but it's still damn simple.
The main appeal for me is that I've not only built, but statted a pirate ship using the system, and fully intend to use it. Due to the modular nature of lego, it'll have to be played at houses, so who has lego? I has much, about 1.8(m^3) of it, or, more usefully, enough to build a reasonably large city with it. That's not counting the bricks making up my pirate ship.

Re: Lego wargame
I have a reasonably large tank made of lego, it's 13" long, about 5" across, and around 7" tall, not including the cannon tower. It should make for some fun.

Re: Lego wargame
It is. I wrote up stats for it, using a supplement on the website, and it comes to 108 points. For comparison, a person is 4 points.

Re: Lego wargame
It's simple. If there's an argument, every player (and sufficiently interested bystanders) roll a d6. Highest score gets their way, unless they're trying to cheat. If so, beat them. Move 4", can't jump or swim more than 2" per turn. Climbing and such is done by means of agreement.
To shoot, pick a target, roll over the Use number. If hit, roll damage. If you score over the opponents armour, they die. If not, they laugh at you. Close combat and vehicles are more complicated, but not by much.
