Hello everyone,

My name is Jeramy England, and I've just been referred to this site by a new acquaintance of mine, Tom. I've been playing 40k and Specialist Games for the last... 6 years maybe, and I greatly enjoy all aspects of them. I'm an Imperial Guard player (since 3rd, not a power creeper) and I have tactical experience and knowledge for all races across the 40k universe.

I hope to become an avid member of tactical discussion on these forums, as well as posting the occasional battle report, and hopefully pictures of my army as my new painting comes through the woodwork.

Jolly splendid. I play dark eldar (one of the four english DE players ). I also play plenty of RPGs, and am running a homebrew one in a couple weeks. Interested?

Playing Dark Eldar in these times takes some real cojones. Good on ya. Also, I'm a fairly big player of the classic paper/dice style RPG, and am very interested in this homebrew RPG of yours. Count me in.

I follow diligently in the footsteps of the great Lord Solar Macharius. i.e. Leading fierce bayonet charges and devastating artillery strikes, often at the same time.

TACTICAL GENIUS is a "in-joke" for alot of IG players after the HQ choice "Creed" has a special rule called Tactical Genius that allows you to deep strike any unit.

A number of short fan made comics were produced about things like eldar in a desert and a warhound titan comes out from under a rock, one eldar says to the other "That must have taken some kind of tactical Geniu....." the other interrupts with "CREEEEEEEED!"

That comic definitely made me "LOL" a fair bit. That was far too good, though TACTICAL GENIUS gives a unit Scouts which lets them outflank. Sort of the same effect, though definitely a great joke! I'll remember that one (though I'm more for the Iron Hand Strakken style)

Lootas are quite nasty, their guns are definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Last time, Gidman pwned me with Spirit's Grey Knights.

And Strakken is like the coolest character in the guard.

Haven't had any games yet, though I'm hoping to arrange for something in the near future. There's a lot of players in Halifax, which is about an hour away from where I'm located. There's also a GW outlet there.
