anyone who has seen anything of my painting knows that this guy is only a little better than my average painting, (in my chaos army i mean) but i spent forever on him and am really proud, so take a look. sorry its a bad photo

May I add he's had them for several weeks, and he only has around 10 painted (last time I saw them). But they are good.

Theres a guy round here, he can spend up to a full day on one model, but they do look truly incredible.

My new daemonhunters are like that, they're incredible, the inquisitor lord was voted the best painted model in the beginners game. I wish I'd painted it, rather than simply bought it from a friend...

unfortunetly, my painting skills are woefuly lacking. I make them battle ready but thats all.

Same, I just make sure they look impressive in a unit, rather than perfect individually. My commanders are pretty good though, I spent a whole hour on my Archon, and he looks awesome.

Sounds like fun, especially if you're going for corrupt Tau.

i would love to see them when their done, or even half done, as one bit of advice, varnish them when you finish, it will make them look awesome,

And a blue wash on silver looks awesome, and maybe red wash on gold? Looks epic for armour, take my grey knight and soon to be dark eldar.

it does look awesome, though i don't think that's right for tau, they've always seemed block colours to me, i think dark blue outer armour and liche purple inner armour with cracks of either skull white, or skull white with a blue wash, light blue wash, but that's just what i would do for tzeentch tau
