This high fantasy GURPS game

I reckon about 150 point should do it, right? Just wondering. Any less makes it a bit too gritty and difficult, they recommend 150 to 200 for high fantasy. Just wondering, I'm making a character now.

Oh gods no. I've built mine fully now, with a small backstory and everything. One thing to ask about magic - we using the cold iron rules? (more metal = less magic) If so, Cam may have to rethink his character.

Okay, cold iron rules. I'll find them, but it's basically a -1 to all spells for every x pounds of metal you have. To avoid the miserable part that could ensue, no counting money weights here. Or possibly -1 for every DR you get from metal armour, -1 for every -2 in the Bulk of a weapon.
