Hey, I'm a reasonably experienced 40k player (tau mainly, absolutely love 'em, but more than a little outdated, but also guard, 500 points, 12 flamers 5 heavy flamers , eldar, pretty squishy, but unfeasibly good in the hands of someone who knows how to use them, shame I don't!, chaos, just a passing fancy, and with apologies, marines, but my own chapter, third founding sons of guilleman 'eagle warriors' who are a little less generic) I also dabble in magic (four colour ally deck, not bad when it gets going, but no match for the milling potential of adam's ally deck).
Dorian Creed suggested I joined the site, and I'm hoping to absorb some of the collected genius posted on this site to take home with me.

Necrons, Orks, Blood Angles and I have a small 600p force of Nids.
I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say you play....(looks at Torat Cards)...Tau?

Impressive what the cards failed to tell you however is my tau are sa'ceans of the damocles gulf crusade! They are supposedly designed for killing space marines, and have been reasonably successful so far. So with playing necrons you don't know if they're being redone soon?

From what I have heard, it will be around first or second codex to be released this year but...to be honest...I dont belive that for a second after hearing it every year.

Shame, they damn well need it! Even say reducing necron warrior squad limitations to 5-20 say would make them miles better at lower points games. From what I gather, by the time you've coated your basic troops and hq there's no points left to play with!

Thats about right. But I'm fine with that because my playing style is just marching a massive (by necron standard) force of warriors and a lord with maybe 3 Destroyers. I never use Monoliths and such.
