i'm reminded of why i love thousand sons

1500 point GK list. I currently have around 750 points without messing around with guard guys. It'll cost around £50 for me to finish it. And that's another 10 models. Damn, they cost a lot of points.

1000 points of 1000 sons is only 28 models.

saying that, it's even less wounds for a grey knight army, and with 16 ap3 bolter shots per unit, tausansan should emerge victorious. especially with ahriman by their side.

This is true, and there's no real reason not to take the bare minimum of troops and then just terminators and land raiders.

Not to mention as well as every grey knight count as having a Psyhic hood to so Arhiman will have a run for his money

46, or 61 for the Brother-Captain. I think you won't have to change them much - GK termis get the infamous +2 S, they're fearless, all can deep strike, all get the save vs psychic, count a stormbolter as a pistol (because they're well 'ard) and have to be within 3x3d6 to shoot them (a rule that I need to stop forgetting, because it's good against ranged armies, like Tau or Guard, and to a lesser extent, your tausansan army). So I think the AP 3 of yours and the special rules of mine are worth roughly the same.

i was thinking all tausansan termis should get force weapons ( i intend to uwse grey knight termi bodies for them)then 45 points, coz it's a nice number to work with as opposed to a silly 46

All with force weapons is a silly idea. Look up the points cost to give any model a force weapon, it's at least 30. So they'd have to be at least 1.5x[normal termi cost]+30 points, in my mind. Only the grand master gets a force weapon, and he costs 140-something.

ok, the sorcerer gets one as standard anyway, and termi armour s only worth an extra 25 points, so 85 for a sorcerer in termi armour?

Whatever the normal sorcerer costs, plus 25, plus a little bit for homebrewed things. (Always overcost rather than underprice)

so.... 85 points then?
