GURPS Negima/Pokemon Crossover Campaign

Yeah, thought we needed a new topic for this. Taking up too much space on the old Pokemon thread...

So, anyway, who wants to play? If you do, I'll need a very basic character concept before-hand, in order to build the campaign directly around you. Also, what pointage should we do this at? I've included a poll, but I still don't actually know whether the options are correct. Here's a frame of reference:

100 pts: Just a regular, everyday normal guy. One of us.
150 pts: Someone with |_337 5|<1|_|_5 or minimal advanced training. A police officer.
200 pts: A natural freaking master or someone with quite substantial advanced training. A US marine.
250 pts: A supernaturally skilled person of someone with very high level advanced training. An SAS member.

Just remeber: You don't have to play a character that's from the Negiverse or the Pokeverse. You could play a character from any anime or manga, just as long as your back story can explain it. Also, OCs only. I don't want anyone playing as an already established character from anything.

So, yeah. Go for it!

EDIT: Here's tha basic backstory to the campaign:

Everything's been normal-ish recently, apart from sightings of unusual people in strange outfits. It's coming up to the Mahora Festival, however, so noone finds it really odd. There's also been a recent influx in tourism to Mahora but people have just pegged that on the festival, seeing as the last two have had such weird events going on at them. There has also been a huge gathering of an 'unusual type of energy' in storm clouds above the festival, according to the Science and Meteorology clubs, so they've asked that there be no helicopters or simmilar at the festival. Strangely, the teachers at Mahora Girls Academy have been sighted stood on rooftops looking strangely at the storm clouds which, for some reason, have gathered around the World Tree. The rumors of Magic have started re-circulating as well, with many a person knowing the events from Chao's Martial Arts Tournament being both unusual and slightly supernatural, but many just putting it down to SFX or shockwave punches. The Meteorology club has put out an announcement that the storm clouds should break within a day or two, just in time for the festival to have decent weather. However, the other strange events have increased in frequency, and there have even been sightings of weird animals around campus. The Science club has no comment on the matter, but "They say that the strange animals are the prototypes for the Science club's new experiment into genetic engineering". This is where our tale begins, a mere two days from the start of the festival. You have been helping out with odd jobs around for the festival preperation in your spare time, in order to earn a little extra cash for the festival or to eat, as your situation varies. You have even taken a slight interest in the clouds above the city, wondering what they really mean and why everyone else is so fascinated with them.

The festival in question is the one two years after the one in the manga, btw.

I have a major character who I invented and will love to use in this, but he isn’t from any manga (his race is original) so I won’t use him until we get this fully working. Until then, here is the background to a character that I just threw together on the stop as a default whilst we work stuff out. I will provided stats and stuff at a later date…

Conjack (my fav name for fictonal male characters)
Species: Diclonius (from Elfin Lied)
One of the very rare male Diclonius who keeps his history a secrete from the others. He enjoys the company of others for the most part and will fight fiercely for what he believes in, yet can often seem somewhat ‘unresponsive’ to others. Another thing that sets him apart from others from his race is that he had been able to control the blood lust that dominates other Diclonius and is thus able to last longer in public, however the dark presence is still present within him and can ‘break out’ at times, effectively making Conjack a ticking time bomb.
He has a basic knowledge with ranged weaponry but is nothing special in that regard, instead using his ten vectors to completely decimate anything that wonders within 2 meters.
He is on a mission for something yet keeps what it is a secrete, only telling those who he trusts beyond all others and even then not giving the whole truth. It is clear that he does not intend to fight for the universal Diclonius goal of total domination and fights to prevent the extermination of man. He is currently working as a teacher in Mahora Academy and seems to have taken a keen interest in the affairs of the girls of class 3A and their teacher….

Not a long term plan, I literraly made it up on the spot so that I could get a plan out there.

... Wow. that is a VERY fleshed out character. I was expecting more along the lines of:

A Diclonicus who isn't after the major Diclonicus goals. Has recently started work at Mahora Academy. Has taken an interest in class 3-A.

So, how many points do you think he'll cost to make, taking into account the comparisons I gave? Seems like about 200 points, but I don't really read/watch Elfen Lied, so I wouldn't know. However, I have seen the first few episodes, and will now be watching more, and this whole 'Ten Vectors' thing looks a bit like really OP telekinisis with a bit of a slashing Innate Attack. Sound about right?

I'm only just starting GURPS next time I meet with Spiritcurse however, so dont know much about the points and such. The Vectors are very powerful and have been seen in the anime to slice clean through a helicoptor and buildings. Thus inorder to make him more balanced I gave him the fact that he isnt the best with ranged weapons. I will be able to give points and such once I can see the rule book from Sprirt.
And yes, I'm an absolute backstory nerd and thus I invent complete backstories for my characters. That took me all of two minutes to make up!

Shit, really? Maybe more than a few levels of slashing Innate Attack, then. Maybe even take Cosmic to represent the fact that it can totally decimate anything regardless of armor. Or you could, you know, make a character that can create Anti-matter out of nothing, go around annihilating entire planets, that sort of thing.

EDIT: On backstory nerdishness: That'll be good to help you fit in with the aesthetic of the campaign, but don't get too complicated without prior GM consultation. Gotta make sure everyone has some element that I can include in the story in some way. Oh, and the idea of balancing by not giving him that good skills with ranged weapons? Doesn't work. If you don't mention the skills at all, then it's assumed that you have no skills at all in that area. Mentioning them instantly starts to cost you points if you wanna keep exactly to your first draft back story. Of course, back stories are more plastic than stats, so..

Oh and backstory nerdishness time! I was really bored and ended up doing this:
Conjack was silent as he watched the group of girls walk across the school’s courtyard, his eyes narrowing as a sudden burst of ice cold wind dug against his face.
“Class 3A…” He muttered to himself as he looked down towards the leather coated book that he clutched in his hand, smiling as he examined each of the faces that smiled back up at him from the pages in turn. It was an exact copy of the class register that their teacher always carried around with him, right down to the individual notes that had written upon it after he had managed to sneak into his room whilst he, and the two girls he bunked with, had been sleeping.
“Oh come on Professor Negi! Come to my party!”
“I will do my best Makie…But I already have an arrangement for that time…”
“Oh but Professor!”
Conjack merely chuckled as he watched the class of girls below swarm around their under aged teacher like a flock of moths to a light bulb. It never ceased to amaze him how so many girls could be so utterly obsessed with their teacher, especially when he was ten years old…though he was on the verge of turning eleven now. He saw the class rep latterly punch one of her class mates clean of their feet as she tried to secure a position beside her teacher, before muttering something into his ear that caused the red headed ten year old to blush and splutter like he had just wondered into a strip club.
“Amusing are they not?” He laughed as he turned to face the girl he could sense standing behind him, laughing all the harder as he saw the confused expression that briefly shot across her face as she realized she had been spotted before taking a step to the side so that she could stand beside him. “Even you must find some of the stuff they do entertaining”
“Hardly” The small girl snorted as she saw a girl with long hair tied into two oversized ponytails based with bells grab the teacher and hurl him out of the horde of baying girls, carrying him away as fast as he could whilst the horde gave chaise. “They are all nothing but a pack of immature children…I’m sick of them to be honest”
Again Conjack laughed as he slammed the book shut and placed it against the wall, leaning backwards as he examined the young girl with mild interest. Evangeline A.K. McDowell, the local vampire of Mahora Academy.
“Take a picture, it will last longer”
“Hardly, haha, you are going to live far longer than any picture my dear”
Evangeline merely rolled her eyes as she saw the last of the class vanish into the main school building with a last cry of something slightly perverted.
“You’re going to be late to class if you don’t head of”
“Oh you have no idea how little the concerns me…”
“Oh yes I do”
Again Evangeline paused as she searched Conjack’s face for any sign of sarcasm before sighing again and walking towards the door, brushing a strand of her long hair behind her ear as she walked.
“I don’t know what you doing at this academy Conjack” She muttered as she paused at the door “But I warn you now, be careful. I wont stand for any threat to any of my minions”
All Conjack did was laugh as she vanished from sight before turning back towards the courtyard, looking up towards the sky as a flock of birds flew over the main building.
“I’d like to see you try Evangeline” He muttered before his hood was blown off by a sudden burst of wind and something invisible reached up to the sky. With a simply flick of his mind, the head bird exploded into a shower of blood and Conjack laughed all the harder…

I'm assuming that by the setting alone that pretty much any trait is allowed, so I must ask only one thing. Base tech level? Current vote mode is 200, mean is 217.67 points. I'll build to 200, then adjust.

... Jeez, he's fucked up. So, what, he's a combination of Psychic Powers, Telepathy, Bunny Ears Lawyer, Manipulative Bastard, and Ax Crazy? Yeah, don't wanna meet him down a dark alleyway at all.

Oh, and Spiritcurse? The base TL is gonna be 8, and the point cost is based on the most frequent, so it looks like a 200 pointer ATM. Other that that, dead on!

Location: When you saw him/her, he was outside a large, high-spired fortress, decorated with blood, skulls, ravens, and the corpses of his/her enemies crucified to the walls.
Friends/Enemies: He was stood next to two human-sized figures, both of which had one glowing red eye. Others unknown.

Also, if you somehow manage to get a fucking T-REX as a mount, then I take my hat off to you, sir! However, if you're at TL 0, then you can't use technology. Like saddles. And swords. And armor. And clothes. Yay naked bareback weaponless T-Rex rider!

So we are seeing a Saron with a Keyblade? Awsome!

Hey, wait up! He's not just a Sauron with a keyblade, he's a 3ft Sauron with a keyblade and an oversized helmet! Get it right!

Also, what's with this grinning face? Actually, scratch that, I'll assume it's from Elfen Lied, and I don't want any plot spoilers!

EDIT: Idea! For the dinosaur rider, why not have him not riding a dinosaur, but a Charizard! This is a Pokemon/Negima crossover campaign, after all!

The grinning face is actually form my on going pokemon story...Its a Gengar that plays a very important role in the story. I dont however want it to be important in this, just pesent or somthing for COnjack to mention.
Anyway, I'm want to change the backstory to my charcter for a part. THe backstory, besides the Diclonius part, is really the story of my main fictional character a memeber of a race known as Darklings. I want to play as him once I have more experiance with this and can govern the rules more. It is the darkling who is the teacher and is following class 3A and has a backstory with Eva.
I'll give the Dilonius a new backstroy so I can continue to use him for the start of the game and such, will do that later.
I'm rushing to write this right now so dont have the time to poperly explain what in the world I'm saying, please let me know if I have confused anyone

Everythig made perfect sense to me. Is this about right:

Conjack = Diclonius =/= Given backstory
Other Fictional Character = Darkwing = Given backstory

He is a Darkling, not Darkwing. A race that I invented and thus is not from any manga/anime. He is however someone I imagine when I watch anime such as Negima. I think "If I was there with them I would have these powers and I would do this".
He is quite powerfull however and has some strange powers so I'm just looking for rules I can use for him, such as the Darkness from the POwers expansion of 4th edition GURPS.

Don't worry, you can use him, no matter what. The campaign is set in the Infinite Worlds, after all which is the main reason Spiritcurse is in the campaign. It's there that the time-travelling space Nazis come from, after all.

Right, I've made a character. Only one thing required of him - his god is at least a real thing, not necessaries the sun god. But yeah, Power Investiture requires the god to have at least some power to invest. I'm playing a dinosaur riding sun god cleric.

Sounds interesting.
So now we have a soldier of the night and a servent of the sun..and interesting pair
