true but i'm focusing on makin the character fit the model, its background and army
besides i can make the gargantuan creature gun orientated and more killy
since when did necron unit types stick to the rules?
the one vehicle is epic and transport and deep strike without needing any crew
none of the army are living apart from the c'tan
and the most basic troop can kill vehicles that are 10x its point cost
thats another thing
the necrons are known for having barely anything that classes as a vehicles
and the vehicles ther are all look like buildings, not robots

And some super-heavies too. Gargantuan creature just seems too... living for the necrons.

So, you've got demons (living) and tyranids (living)? Can we take this as precedent that a large, metal, long-range orientated unliving thing could be a vehicle?

Well, it depends really. Can it fight in close combat by doing more than trampling?

Exactly. Generally speaking, gargantuan creatures fight in CC, titans shoot but also have some CC. So it depends what he wants.

But Necron stuff is classed as living metal, so is the monolith! Meh besides, Titan CCW better and then you can give it kick ass guns also but gargant can be done

just thouhgt
all necrons are made of living metal
only things that arent are the floater bases n most of the weaponry
so ages thers a reason its all classed as living
but then technicly monolith shud be too...

Indeed, but due to its sheer size it is classed as a vehichle because it operates like one, as does the tombstalker

Same for me, but I only want 1, if at all possible. And even then, I don't want the top bits, just the body and tracks.
