[23:07] <@Dark> Its not far to the entrence to the second half of Shadow Forrest...but as soon as you see the trees, you carnt help but feel that their are unseen eyes watching you from the undergrowth

[23:11] <%cora> Amber sighed and pulled out a pokeball. she threw it forward. As it hit the ground a ponyta materialised and stepped towards her.

[23:14] <@Dorian> "Also, with that." I also scan the new pokémon, smiling once more at the thought of more information.
[23:14] <@Dark> [Ponyta, a Fire Horse Pokémon. Its mane is made of intense flames. As a newborn, it can barely stand. However, through galloping, its legs are made tougher and faster]

[23:26] <@Dark> Heading into the undergrowth, the temperature immediately falls and it isn't long before you lose sight of the town. The depth of the plant life here is worse then it ever was before Barce Town and it is clear that to leave the path would be the verge of suicide. You can hear the calls and movement of Pokémon all around you, but never actually see them…

[23:28] <@Dorian> "Yes, lets." I break into a light jog, a grimace on my face.
[23:28] <%Karm> i crouch and pick up a bunch of sticks and get Duke to light them, then hand them out
[23:28] <@Dark> You walk for hours, allways feeling like there are pokemon near by and often hearing the sound of bushes moving but still, you see nothign beisde the odd shadow that feels like you imagined them

[23:55] <@Dark> you run, allways feeling like there is somthing just behind you before, with a loud bang...one of the trees before you seems to bend and fall ahead of you, blocking your path

[00:08] <@Dark> The snake roars out as it snaps its jaw shut around you arm, hurling you away withs its sheer streignth whilst some of the liqued seeps into you arm...It the falls to the ground with a thumb and curls its entire body around itself as it turns towards Karm

[20:39] <Dark> You are trapped in a small clearing in the forrest, Dorian has vanished and Mark has been badly bitten by the larger of the snake pokemon that now stand before you. They are all purple, 5 small pokemon witha single, large snake standing tall over them.

[20:40] <Dark> Its red eyes are narrowed in anger towards Duke after having just been attacked and the 'coller' around its neck has become fully extended as it snaps at their air, teeth bared

[21:05] <Dark> The small snakes hiss as they back away, leaving only the large on in the circle. "Ar..bok!" It snaps as it watches you pokemon before lowering and slithering away into the undergrowth

[21:18] <Dark> Pinsir, Duke, Spirand and Anna all give nods as they turn to the bush, Anna glows brightly as the others charge forth and hit the bush.
[21:18] <Dark> The plantlife explodes under the attack but they find nothing
[21:19] <Dark> As you pokemon turn and start to headback, somthing falls from the tree above them
[21:20] <Kite> "Watch out!" Felix shouts, though it is already too late.
[21:20] <Dark> The pokemon yelp and scatter, but a pair of jaws clamp around Pinsir and lift him into the air as the Arbok's teeth seem to burn in its bite
[21:23] <Dark> as Pinsir scream out in pain, the Arbok roars out and hurls its body to the ground, seeming to have held off on its full attack for some reason
[21:23] <Kite> "Everyone pull back out the bushes. Karm can you try to light the bushes on fire?"
[21:24] <Karm> "Duke! do it!" i shout to him
[21:25] <Dark> Duke trys to fire its ember, but as it does so the Arbok swats it away with its large tail, sending the pokemon flying backwards before it rights itself
[21:27] <Kite> "Okay, Anna helping hand again, and Spirand get it with bite!"
[21:29] <Dark> The attack again finds nothing to hit as the Arbok fades back into the plantlife around it
[21:30] <Kite> "This is bad... we have no strategy against this..." Felis says extremely worried...
[21:32] <Kite> "Cora, does Ponyta know a fire attack?"
[21:35] <cora> "No but he can do something better." I smile, "Ponyta go up to the largest plant and lie down next to it."
[21:36] <Dark> Ponyta looks at you for a sec before walking over to a tree and holding its main under a branch. ther is a second before it ignihts
[21:38] <@Spiritcurse> Watching this, I drag myself to my feet and begin jogging in roughly the direction Dorian left in before.
[21:39] <Dark> as you flee, the tree fully burns and you see the shillogette of the Arbok before you...looking very angry as its teeth bare again
[21:40] <Kite> "There it is... Anna, helping hand. Spirand bite it, and make it count!"
[21:40] <Dark> Howling in anger, the Arbok lunges out and wraps tight around Spirand before it can move, its teeth burning bright as it bights down
[21:44] <Karm> "Duke use ember!" i shout
[21:46] <Karm> "Pin use Vice grip!"
[21:47] <Kite> "Anna help them out!."
[21:50] <Dark> Pinsir manages to get the snake pokemon off Spirand and hurts it, but only seems to anger it more
[21:57] <Dark> As Togepi starts to dace, the Arbok stops and looks at it, seeming etranced by its movement
[21:59] <cora> "Ponyta tackle!"
[22:02] <Dark> the fire type pokemon raises its hoofs and tires to stamp it onto the snake, but the poisen type rolls to the side and only gets a scratch on the side of its body
[22:06] <Dark> Looking up at you all, the Arbok gives out a hiss before lunging towards Duke, the burning of its teeth now glowing yellow as it sings its teeth in
[22:17] <Karm> "Duke use Ember!, and Pin use Vice grip again!"
[22:20] <Dark> The Arbok yell out as the flames finally hit home, its head lowering in anger as its tail slams against the ground. it looks towards Duke in pure hatred
[22:21] <Dark> As Pinisr runs at it, its tail slams out and send the pokemon flying, its eyes never leaving Duke
[22:27] <cora> "Togepi Metronome, Ponyta use Tackle."

[22:33] <Dark> Togepi's attack hits home and the Arbok yells out in pain. It moves slower now as it looks to you, its boddy suddenly looking brused
[22:36] <Dark> Roaring through its clear pain, the Snake rises high into the air and charges, its teeth lighting up

The sounds of wild Pokémon now seem less hostile and it is much easier to recognize and follow the path as more and more light begins to creep through

[21:50] <@Dark> You can feel the air grow slightly warmer under the touch of a returning sun and allready the signs of human pressence can be seen in signs and marks that lead the way towards the end of the massive forrest

[21:53] "I suppose, although you have probaly jinxed it, and something bad is going to happpen." I reply.
[21:54] <@Dark> To your left, a Zubat chirps out as it drops from its hanging spot from a sign and vanishes into the forrest behind you

[22:02] I jumped onto the back of Ponyta and begin to ride pass Karm.
[22:03] "Hey!" i laugh " That isnt fair!" i shout and begin to run
[22:04] <@Dark> You run fast but carnt catch up to the Ponyta, untill that is you reach where it had stopped as you get a look at the source of the sound. A large freeway that marks a very abrupt end to the mass of trees
[22:05] "Hmm" i nod " Finally out of that nightmare..."
[22:05] "And your probably going to cause a new one." I smile weakly
[22:06] "Hell Yeah i am!" i grin
[22:07] Both me and Ponyta shake our heads.

[22:12] <@Dark> it takes a bit longer then you would have expected but after a while you finally reach the first layer of buildings that form the city. A large sign hangs from a large metalic carving of a Metagross across the road like a giant bridge
[22:13] "Well we had best make our way to the pokemon centre and then to a Market, i forgot to buy a Goin Region guide book"
[22:13] <@Dark> "WELCOME TO ANIMA CITY" It reads "THE CITY OF CLEAR MINDS"
[22:14] "Guess there isnt any pubs here..." i grin thinking of our past companions
[22:14] "Huh. Your definatly out of place then." i smile sweetly
[22:16] i laugh quietly and carry on walking down the sidewalk
[22:17] <@Dark> As you entre the city, you immidiatly notice a massive diffrence from the quite of the forrest that had surrounded you for days now. People and pokemon of all shapes and sizes move alongside the streets and along the builddings in a sea of everyday life
[22:17] I jump of Ponyta, and take Togepi out of my back pack and onto the ground. "It seems so much more peaceful here for some reason." I sigh
[22:18] "True." i say smiling and releasing Nidoran and Pin
[22:20] <@Dark> Youre starter pokemon seem happy enough but those you caught within the forrest seem to be scared by the ammount of people and the noise of the city
[22:20] "Come on, i wont let anyone step on you." I smile and pick up my Nidoran.
[22:21] "Hey Hey, calm down." i say crouching to pick up Nidoran and place him on my shoulder
[22:22] <@Dark> The two Nidoran shudder slightly before relaxing slightly whilst Pin moves to stand beside you as a large garbidge truck drive by
[22:23] "dont worry guys you will get used to it" i smile gently pushing them forward
[22:24] "This is ridiculously busy" i moan, placing Togepi on Ponyta, "Did i really say this was peaceful?"
[22:24] "C'mon lets get them to the pokemon centre, at least its quiet there."
[22:26] "That would be helpful huh guys?" I smile at Togepi.
[22:26] <@Dark> Karm is proven right when you finally reach the pokemon centre, a large purple building which is surrounded by metalic carvings of diffrent pokemon.
[22:27] <@Dark> as you entre it you find the usuall image of trainers caring for their pokemon and a Nurse Joy sat behind a counter reading a book whilst a set of Chansey walk around on various tasks. A gentle track of music is playing through some speakers
[22:28] "Hmm least there are plenty of people to battle against" i smile as i walk to the desk
[22:29] <@Dark> "Not in here thank you" The Nurse Joy remarks with a smile as you reach her counter, placing the book down and standing up "How may I help you?"
[22:30] "Can we have our pokemon healed please? and no i didnt mean in here miss" i bow slightly
[22:32] <@Dark> "Good" She smiles before placing a tray before you "Please place your pokeballs onto this"
[22:32] "Ok, c'mon guys" i say returning them all
[22:32] I smack my fore head as i walk pass Karm and place the Pokeballs onto the tray.
[22:33] <@Dark> Joy chuckles at Cora's action before taking the tray and taking it to a large machine behind her, placing the pokeballs onto it and entering a code to activate it
[22:35] <@Dark> She hums a tune as she waits before placing them back onto the tray and handing them back to you "Here you go, your pokemon are good as new"
[22:36] "Thank you very much." I smile and release my pokemon back out.

[22:39] <@Dark> "Barce Town? Thats nice...though it means you came through Shadow Forrest right? Explains all you forrest pokemon. Had fun?"

[22:40] "Yep definatly, we got ot see a lot of different pokemon." I smile
[22:42] <@Dark> "Well thats good. THe forrest has finally died down after the Crystal incident in Shadow City now"
[22:43] "Did two men come through here?" i ask " Wewere attacked by an Arbok and Ekans on the way through and they escaped while we fought it"

[22:46] "One would probably be complaining because he got bitten." I interjected

[22:47] <@Dark> "I see..." Joy mutters as she sits down and begins to type into the computer beside her "Well i carnt say anything about a Beldum named Omega but...I have record of a Porygon named Nimda. Was here just the other day with a trainer suffering from a bad Arbok bite"

[22:49] "Now i can kick his ass for running out on us." i mutter " hmmm, Nurse Joy , is there a Market nearby?"

[22:57] "Hey!" i mutter over my shoulder to her "Hmm well at least he is ok"

[23:05] <@Dark> "Sure" He reaches of camera and, after what seems to be a struggle, pulls a small green pokemon with a slender build and holds it to his chest where you can see. The pokemon gives a shake before falling still and looking towards you with a narrow brown eye

[23:05] "Cool" i nod " one of the local pokemon?"
[23:06] <@Dark> "Aye, a grass type by the name of Snivy"
[23:06] <@Dark> "Tell you what though...some strange pokemon down here. They dont even have any Chansey at the pokecentre! How werid is that!"

[23:07] "What?!" i shout " but they have Chansey..like everywhere!"
[23:08] <@Dark> "I know! Its crazy!" Jack laughs as his Snivy finally breaks free of his grasp and vanishes "They have some things called Audino here, cute little things with fluffy tails and ears that can detect emotions"

[23:26] <@Dark> "I only really got past if because I had a Squirtle and a Charmander by that point so I could use diffrent tactics and if both of you have nidoran then you will need to think of a plan. Mike had to skip this GYm and come back to it after he had two badges"

[23:27] "Unfortunatly my pokemon will be more of a hit and miss. Especially with Metromone"
[23:28] <@Dark> "indeed. But some good news is that the Gym leader recently retired after the battle in Shadow City and so her daughter has only just taken to post as leader. Shes young and demanded to use her own team so they arnt the strongest pokemon ever. You may be able to use her inexperiance"
[23:28] "Yeah, so we still have a good chance! we just need to train a little bit more and we're good to go!"
[23:29] "Sounds fun."
[23:29] <@Dark> "thats the spirit! Her names Sa and...well shes very enthusiastic about being a Gym Leader so she may well be easy to predict in her actions, but dont let that blind you to her power"

[23:32] <@Dark> "Ah hahaha" Jack grins "Sorry mate, but Gym leader confidentiality and all that. I'm not allowed to give anything like that away. Plus I like Sa, and she enjoys it when poeple dont know what shes going to use"

[21:24] <@Dark> The monkey like pokemon gives a yell before stepping aside to allow a man to walk to the front of the stage where he holds his hands open

[21:26] <@Dark> "Welcome my freinds!" He calls "I hope you have been enjoying all that Shinnoh has to offer but i thought i would add a little spice to the event. I offer that one of you bring forth a single pokemon and, should you win in a battle...I will give you a pokemon that is available exclusivly to the Shinnoh region!"
[21:27] "Nice" i smile " i wanna tyr and get one!" i say eagerly
[21:28] <@Dark> "But I am afread we have but one available today. So...which of you will try for it?"
[21:29] <@Dark> He raises a pokeball and release a small pokemon on the the stage, grinning as he awaits a response from the crowd

[21:35] <@Dark> "And we have a trainer!" The man calls "Welcome my dear. Now, what pokemon shall you use?"

[21:38] <@Dark> "Ah a fire type. Perhaps a wise choice"
[21:39] "I hope so...."
[21:44] <@Dark> "Very well. Now then shall we begin?"
[21:45] "Yup" i say moving out of the crowd and sending ponyta in front of me
[21:46] <@Dark> "Very well. Now I shall make the first move and we shall begin! Roselia! You know what to do"
[21:47] <@Dark> "Rose!" The pokemon cheers before raising its flower like hands and blowing a fine dust out into the stage
[21:49] <@Dark> the spores fall upon Ponyta, which begins to cough and shudder as they grip it
[21:53] "Ok lets start with a Ember" i say worried
[21:56] <@Dark> The flams hit the grass pokemon, sending it flying backwards before it lands and corrcts itself gracefully
[21:58] <@Dark> It then raises its arms high and summons a large orb of light above its head, one which is promptly copyed within Ponyta's head and pulled over to the grass type. Sucking the life force out of the fire type
[22:02] Ponyta winces and then shakes its mane pulling it head up again for another Ember
[22:03] <@Dark> again the flames hit the grass pokemon, causing it to wince before standing yet again and raising its arms above its head
[22:05] <@Dark> another orb of light is ripped from Ponyta
[22:06] "Ponyta come here!" i say pulling out a Potion
[22:07] <@Dark> "Ah!" The man grins "A good idea I belive" He then does the same
[22:09] "Ok use Ember again!" i shout
[22:11] <@Dark> The Grass type barely has time to turn from its potion before it is struck by the fire, a couple of the petals on its hands simply ceasing to be from the heat
[22:11] <@Dark> The crowd either cheer or yell out in fear for the pokemon as it stumbles fowrads before a giving it stagges back to its feet, looking up at you
[22:12] <@Dark> This time however, the red rose it flug fowrads and a hail of purple spikes fly out, embedding in Ponyta's neck with a splash of toxic liquid
[22:13] Ponyta cries out after being hit , shakes its mane again and limps back into place
[22:19] <@Dark> As Ponyta raises its head to attack again, the spores around its body finally kick in and the hourse pokemon flinches, unable to move under their grip
[22:22] <@Dark> the grass pokemon gasps as it raises back to its feet, raising the two flower hands above its head one last time
[22:29] <@Dark> Ponyta gives a yelp as a final orb is pulled from its body and it falls to the ground, whilst the Rosila stands back onto its feet looking slightly better as the missing petals on its hand begin to regrow
[22:29] <@Dark> With the end of the battle, the crowd burst out into cheering
[22:31] <@Dark> "A brilliant battle!" The man cheers as he walks over and bends down over Ponyta, slipping a small golden item into its mouth before helping it stand up
[22:31] <@Dark> "The max revive is on the house" he winks
[22:31] "Thanks for the fun battle." I smile.
[22:34] <@Dark> "Aye, it was good" he then lets go of Ponyta, which walks over to you, head low
[22:35] I smile at it and pet it's nose. "Don't sulk, you did a great job. Maybe next time you will kick it's butt."
[22:36] <@Dark> "Aye...but I have to say, you did very well in that battle"
[22:37] <@Dark> "Tell me" He tilts his head "How do you view pokemon?"

[22:38] "Beings. They are truly amazing, and provide the ultimate friendship that any lonely, miserable person like me can get." I smile at Ponyta.

[22:43] <@Dark> When you glance behind you however, there is noone there
[22:44] "Huh, that isn't strange at all." my Ponyta nuzzles my face, and shakes it's mane.
[22:45] <@Dark> After a few minutes her returns to you with a large box, wrapped in wrapping paper complete with bow "here, you take this...call it my thanks for the great battle"
[22:46] I open the wrappings and find a pokeball. "Wow thank you so much. I hope i get to battle you again." I smile.
[22:48] <@Dark> You do however, also find that the pokeball is empty and beneath it, in a large glass container is a pokemon egg, lovingly wrapped up. When however you look up for the man...he is gone

[22:14] "See, I've been enjoying the scenary in the forest and I got lost." Kite says while laughing at Karm's responce.
[22:15] "Heh. well you missed out anyway" i smile
[22:15] "On what? Traveling through another overly civilized town?"
[22:16] "well there is that, and finding some new pokemon." I smile
[22:17] "Really, can I see them."
[22:18] "Heh. sure" i say Releasing Nidoran near my feet then scooping him up before he gets worried
[22:18] "Sure." I smile as a place the nidoran onto the floor infront of Felix.
[22:18] <@Dark> both the pokemon seem a little calmer now, probily due to the road being quite
[22:19] "Hmm your a tad happier" i mutter and place him down next to Amber's Nidoran
[22:19] "So you both have nidorans... lucky you." Felix says with a smile after scanning them both.
[22:20] "Oh i also won an egg. Can't wait for it to hatch." I smile as i reach into my bag.
[22:23] "So what should we do know? I was personally thinking about doing some training back in shadow forest. I pretty much got a basic layout of the forest and I've seen a good bit of the pokemon so..."
[22:25] "Well i think after watching Ambers battle, we need Money" i mutter " After resuppling i dont have a great deal of money left"
[22:26] "I know what you mean. I only have two pokeballs left myself, though I do have a fair bit of money on me."
[22:26] "So to the pokemon centre, might find some work there"
[22:27] "Sure, that could be a big help." i grumble, thinking about the amount of work it would involve.
[22:28] "Well, training an wait a bit then." Felix says as he follows you guys to the pokemon center.
[22:30] <@Dark> when you reach the pokecentre you see the usual corwd of trainers and Chansey making their ways around, Nurse Joy is sat eating her lunch behind the counter with the local Officer Jenny and the T.V. is showing some celebrations going on at Fall City
[22:31] I walk over to the Tv and watch while asking Officer Jenny if she knows of any work that Trainers would find useful
[22:33] "This town really does get busy." I sighed as i slumped on a bench nearby.
[22:34] "It's a bit too big for my liking..." Felix mutters as he takes a seat next to Amber.
[22:36] <@Dark> "Work for Trainers?" Jenny raises an eyebrow out you as she munches on her Octillery stick "Not much going but I hear that theres some old guy having trouple with a pack of Mightyena by the main entrance to Shadow Forrest. Might be good for you"
[22:36] "Thank you" i smile and bow before calling the others over
[22:38] "So what you got for us Karm?"
[22:39] " A pack of Mightyena that need dealing with " i smile " Shouldnt be all that hard but who knows"
[22:40] "Well then, let's go. The faster we get this done, the faster we get to rela."
[22:40] "Yup" i laugh and i walk out the door
[22:40] "Hey wait up darn it."
[22:40] "And the faster we can sleep." I sighed, realizing how tired i was, as i stood up and followed.
[22:42] <@Dark> the streets of Anima City seem mostly empty as you make you're way back the way you had come, back towards Shadow Forrest
[22:43] "God i hate myself for coming back here..."
[22:43] "Dear Lord, I love myself for coming back here!"
[22:44] "Why cause you can remember how reckless you were?" I laugh as i set my Nidoran back onto the floor, and it began to walk comfortably next to me
[22:45] <@Dark> again the sound of civilization begin to be raplaced by the sound of nature, but this time you can clearly see a well trodden path that looks like it is used by a single car. A drive way
[22:45] "Hmmm Lets go see the guy first" i mutter
[22:48] As Felix follows Karm he aimlessly swings his staff around.
[22:48] <@Dark> as you make you way, you come across a large cottage that had been placed in the middle of nowhere, somewhere clearly meant to be a safe haven from othesr
[22:49] "Hello!" i shout not wanting to get too near
[22:49] "I feel even more out of place now. And don't shout!" I scold Karm
[22:51] <@Dark> there is no anserw from the house
[22:51] "So do we go up there and knock?" Felix asks while continuing to triwl around his staff.
[22:52] "No, i dont like this..." i mutter and walk around the back of the cottage
[22:52] "you do realise that this is tresspassing right?" I smile as i follow.
[22:53] <@Dark> at the back of the cottage, you dont see much but you can hear the faint sound a thudding echoing around you
[22:54] "Think that is our mightyena?" Felix says nerveously before calling out Spirand.
[22:54] "Duke , C'mon out" i mutter releasing Duke
[22:57] "Ponyta let's go." i call as Ponyta steps forward. I turn my head as i hear a rustling coming from behind me.
[22:59] "Right Come at us" i mutter
[23:02] As i stare hard into the shadows a pair of white specs appear. "Errm" I start trying not to make to much noise.

[23:10] <@Dark> The pokemon growls as it fully steps into the light, its red eyes seeming to glow slightly
[23:11] "Alright if your the ones that have been harassing the owner then come on!" i shout moving into a combat position
[23:11] <@Dark> tilting its head at you'r movment, the pokemon raises its head and unleashes a deafening howl into the sky, echoing all around you
[23:12] "Look you have started something now." I said covering my ears.
[23:12] "Lets go! Use Ember!" i shout covering my ears
[23:13] <@Dark> Duke gives a whimper, unable to attack. The howl goes on and on untill, as the sun begins to set around you, no less then a dozen snarling and drooling pokemon emerge from the shadows around you. Completly surrounding you in a cirlce of snarling teeth and hissing maws. bloodthursty eyes ready for the kill

[21:47] <@Dark> Standing outside of the back of a small cottage isolated from the rest of Anima city, the two of you are surrounded by a pack of Mightyena. You came here on a job to remove their pessence but now, as you watch the pack circle you, it is all too clear that you have come to be way over your head
[21:48] "Well. This wasnt expected..." i mutter
[21:48] "who's bight idea was this again?" I groan
[21:48] "Jenny's not mine" i say
[21:48] "You still agreed to it." i glared
[21:49] <@Dark> The pack seem to listen to your exchange as they continue to circle, their blood red eyes narrow
[21:49] "Yeah,Yeah..." i mutter
[21:50] <@Dark> your pokemon are gathered around you in a tight circle, seeming worried but (most notibly in Pin) a strong ditermination
[21:51] "Well screw this" i say "Bring It!" i shout at them
[21:52] "Don't make it worse by shouting!" i yell
[21:53] "Says you!"
[21:53] <@Dark> Seeming to accept you're challange, two of the larger Mightyena turn and bolt towards you, jumping into the air teeth bared in a lethal attack...and promptly explode as a ball of purple light shoots out from behind you
[21:53] "Huh?!" i turn quickly
[21:54] "This your fault again!" i step back
[21:55] <@Dark> as you turn, the ground seems to shake as a massive pokemon stomps into view. it looks like a tank walking on four legs, its face a giant X shape as it opens its mouth and vomits another pychic ball into the pack of pokemon
[21:56] "Oh great...more trouble" i mutter and turn to face the bigger pokemon
[21:56] <@Dark> "META" The pokemon roars as it stomps fowrad, its tri clawed limbs crushing an over turned tree
[21:57] i pull out my pokedex and scan it
[21:57] <@Dark> behind you, the Mightyena return howls
[21:57] <@Dark> [Metagross, the Iron Leg Pokémon and the evolved form of Metang. Metagross has four legs and uses many powerful moves. With its four brains, it has an intelligence rivaling a supercomputer]
[21:58] Togepi clings to my leg and begans to cry slightly. I pick it up and cuddle it gently.
[21:58] "Well....i think i'm gonna choose its side" i say turning back to the Mightyena
[21:59] <@Dark> the Mightyena seem nervous now, but they remain standing, growling back warning at the massive steel type pokemon
[22:01] I face the mightyena and sigh aloud
[22:02] <@Dark> "If i were you two" a womens voice calls out from behind you "I'd get out of there and get your pokemon fighting"
[22:03] "I like that idea." I say as Ponyta andNidoran step infront of me to face the mightyena.
[22:04] "Lets go!" i shout at my pokemon "Pin use Bind! Duke use Ember! and Rohan use double kick!" i shout not needing to be told twice

[22:37] <@Dark> Togipi glows a bright white. As your other pokemon charge fowrad, the Mightyena seem to show signs of regaining their standing, but one is still too slow to avoid the attacks and falls the the ground where it falls still.
[22:39] <@Dark> As the Mightyena begin to charge again, another two simply vanish as they are struck by a powerful psychic. their bodies hitting a set of trees a few meters back with heavy thuds
[22:40] <@Dark> now the Mightyena hit home, a small group aiming for the pokemon in the middle whilst the bulk head for the giant Megagross
[22:43] <@Dark> the Mightyena that hit the Metagross swarm over it, leaving a series of dents (and broken teeth) where the bite it and one blow seems to really hurt but the steel type simply growls and stomps its giant feet
[22:48] the Mightyena bites down hard on Rohans back he then wleps and thrashs around until he is let go, becoming angry when it is let go
[22:50] <@Dark> howling as the battle rages, a Mightyena turns towards a figure that has appeared at the mouth of a gap of trees.
[22:52] <@Dark> beside her the figure of someone you recognise runs into view, a small Eevee running at his heels towards the commotion
[22:53] "Hey, guys, you aren't died, are you?"
[22:56] i grab the mightyena and tackle it to the ground before it can jump on the woman
[22:57] <@Dark> The Mightyena howls and snaps its jaws at you in retaliation
[22:58] <@Dark> despite its thrashing though, Karm is somehow able to keep a hold of it
[23:05] <@Dark> with a almost pitiful whine, the Mightyena below you falls still after your pokemon's attacks
[23:05] "NEXT!" i shout
[23:19] "Ponyta, togepi, nidoran aim for that mightyena." i say as I point towards the target
[23:20] <@Dark> The attack hits the pokemon hard and it yelps out as it flies back, landing amongst the others in a motionless heap. Beside you Togpi gives a slight yelp of shock
[23:24] as the creature fell, and togepi's small wimper continued, i felt movement in my backpack.
[23:24] Felix takes on a pitiful look for a second before he snaps himself back to attention. "Anna, Spirand use tackle and bite."
[23:27] <@Dark> A Mightyena leaps out of the way of Anna's attack but a second gets bit on the leg by Spirand, flinching in pain as it swats it away
[23:30] <@Dark> With a deafening roar, the Metagross stomps fowrad once again, its eyes lighting up as it spits out another bright purple ball that shatters a nearby tree
[23:30] <@Dark> after a second of slience...the remaining Mightyena give a load howl and turn, vanishing into the darkness of the forrest without another sound
[23:31] <@Dark> as those that had been taken out of the fight follow, they leave behind only the one that is completly motionless...
[23:32] "Well, that was ...fun." Felix says while taking his pokemon into his arms.
[23:33] <@Dark> As the silence falls again, the Metagross gives a low growl as it steps into the clearing and the women from before runs into the clearing, kneeling down before the dead Mightyena
[23:33] "Hmm" i groan
[23:35] <@Dark> You pokemon slump in exahustion around you, but none have been hurt in the fight
[23:35] i slump to the floor and cradle togepi in my arms.
[23:37] The shaking in my bag starts again an i watch as the bag moves
[23:38] <@Dark> Before you, the Metagross gives a deafening roar as it slams its feet into the ground, hitting it again and again until a massive hole has been dug into the dirt
[23:40] <@Dark> Slowly, muttering somthing, the women picks up the dead pokemon and carrys it to the hole, laying to gently into the ground before the MEtagross uses its psychc powers to lift up the dirt it had pushed away and lay it gentle over the body. buring it
[23:41] "Rest in peace." Felix says to the dead mightyena.
[23:43] <@Dark> The women is silent, muttering somthing you dont understand save for the world 'Arceus', before seeming to notice Cora and walking over to her
[23:43] I look up and watch he sadly.
[23:44] <@Dark> "Whats in the bag?" She says calmly as the Metagross behind her stomps and turns to face you
[23:45] "erm. An egg i beleive although i am not sure if it has properly hatched yet." i replied.
[23:45] <@Dark> She is silent for a second before smiling and kneeling beside you. "Can you take it out?"
[23:47] "I guess," i smile, and reach into my bag to take it out.
[23:48] <@Dark> Smiling to herself, she holds her hand above it and closes her eyes. then, after a second and a satisfied grunt from the Metagross, she reaches out her own hand towards you to take
[23:49] I take it back gratefully and smile at her.
[23:50] <@Dark> "Now, give me your hand" she holds out her other hand
[23:50] I hesitate but take her hand gently
[23:51] <@Dark> Smiling back she gently places your hand atop of the egg, which almost immidiatly begins to snap and shudder
[23:53] "What the--" i begin and start to laugh

[23:54] Felix stays silently put anyone watching him can see he has taken an interest in the lady.
[23:54] <@Dark> "As is the way of the world" She smiles as she lets go, leaving your hand ontop of the egg "For every life lost, another enters the world"
[23:56] togepi wades forward and touches the egg out of it's own curiosity, and flinches as it moved at it's touch
[23:59] <@Dark> massive cracks appear on the edge and slowly, it begins to fall apart

[00:02] "oh my god it is so cute!" i say as i pick it up slowly and hug it
[00:03] <@Dark> the pokemon gives a squeke in your arms before cuddling into your hug slightly and falling asleep
[00:03] "What is it?" Fellix says finally speaking up.
[00:04] <@Dark> "A fine pokemon" She smiles "Thats what it is"
[00:04] "You can scan it if you want to felix." I smile sweetly.
[00:05] Felix takes his pokedex out of his pocket and aims it at the blue pokemon.
[00:05] <@Dark> [Piplup, the Penguin Pokémon. Although not the most sure-footed, it is proud nonetheless, getting right back up after a fall with head held high]
[00:07] "it even has a cute name." I laugh
[00:09] <@Dark> The women smiles before nodding "My name is Jane by the way. Now, can i offer you a lift back to the city? I'm sure you would like to get that pokemon checked out at the pokecentre"
[00:10] "yes please!" i laugh relieved at not having to walk anymore
[00:11] "Lazy." Felix says laughiing quietly so no one can hear him.
[00:11] <@Dark> "good" She reaches behind her with a purple pokeball and the Metagross vanishes into a flash of red light before turning and gesturing for you to follow her "Oh and wrap the Piplup in this" She holds out a small blanket that she seemed to pull out of nowhere
[00:12] "You have everything. Can you pull a car out of nowhere to?" i laugh scarcastically. "And thank you."
[00:13] <@Dark> "Naw, forgot to put it in my poket today" She laughs "Its just behind those trees"
[00:13] <@Dark> As you wrap the baby pokemon up, you see a small badge fall out of the blanket where it had been wrapped up
[00:14] "huh?" I question as i hold it in the palm of my hand
[00:15] <@Dark> the badge is in the shape of a bright purple G with a ring spinning around it. The official symbole of Goin Region gyms, a badge only carried by Gym leaders

Apologies for long time until mod intervention. I found myself here this night, wondering why a topic with RPG in the name, that referred to a P&P RPG, was not in the RPG section. Moved, mostly so the moderation logs look like I'm still alive.

Whilst asleep, Felix is given a strange dream that holds both secrets of hope and horror...

[21:00] <@Dark> You are walking down a strange forrest path, filled with colours and shapes that simply dont seem to make sense with huge chunks of land covored with buildings and landmarks hovering in the air above you. The Sky shines a deep purple and and the sun glows red with the trees nothing more then twisted twigs. You dont know what is going on but your pokemon are walking alongside of you, out of their pokeballs despite not being released
[21:02] "Wow this scenary is wierd." Felix says as he looks up at the floating pieces of land and such. "It looks like a children's book gone wrong..."
[21:04] Felix then looks down at the two pokemon that are walking beside him to make sure they are okay. "I wonder where Karm and Taylor are..."
[21:04] <@Dark> There is no sign of them, just an unearthly silence and a faint light glowing ahead of you
[21:06] "This place gives me goosebumps. What kind of place is this? Any ideas Anna? Spirand?"
[21:07] <@Dark> Your pokemon look up and mutter their names, their voices sounding slightly miss shaped
[21:08] 'Wierd I couldn't understand them...' Felix thinks to himself as he continues walking slowly getting closer to the faint light.
[21:11] Felix reaches down and pats both of his pokemon on the head as he continues walking, more to reassure himself they are still there then anything else.
[21:12] <@Dark> Your pokemon nod at you and follow, watching as the chunks of land fly above you. Suddenly there is a heavy crash as two of the smash together, one you recognise as bearing a building that resembles Shadow City Gym smashing into a chunk of land baring a huge tower that you havent seen before
[21:14] "I most definitely don't like this place." Felix says as the buildings smash into each other. "We need to find a way out."
[21:17] <@Dark> your pokemon nod and begin to move faster towards the light, looking down from above as the shape of Shadow City Gym bukles and turns to dust under the weight of the tower, which seems to stand tall for a minute before falling apart under its own weight
[21:19] 'Could this stuff have meaning?" Felix thinks to himself as he begins to run towards the light with his pokemon beside him.
[21:22] <@Dark> The light glows brighter as you get closer before, just as you are about to get to where it is, it explodes and shoots into the air like an arrow. Once it is in the air its shatters and takes the shape of a massive white pokemon, its chest surrounded in what resmbles a glowing halo and four legs each glowing a bright light
[21:23] <@Dark> It howls a deafening roar the seeps in sheer power as it spits a beam of light at a massive black snake like shape that shoots out of the nothingness towards it
[21:24] <@Dark> You catch a glimps of a golden jaw like shape around the snakes head and six black tendrals trialing from its neck before the two figues smash together in an explosion of light and darkness
[21:24] 'What is all of this!' Felix shouts in his mind as he unconciously takes a step back.
[21:25] <@Dark> shadow and light clash again and again before, with a screech of pain, the white pokemon falls to the ground, smashing and melting into ablivion whilst the snake roars in victory
[21:26] "What just happened?" Felix mutters to himself quietly.
[21:28] <@Dark> Your pokemon hide behind your legs as there snake seems to melt into shadows and the forrest vanashes to reveal a massive city built around a dock
[21:30] <@Dark> it seems like a giant matropolise, a massive suspension bridge leads away from it and an overturned sign reads 'Welcome to Unova'
[21:31] "I really don't like this place any more." Felix says even as he walks towards the city.
[21:32] <@Dark> there are no people to be seen and fires can be seen burning throught out the city and two more shapes clash above you. a flash of lighting and you see a pokemon bathed in white, a flash of fire and you see a pokemon bathed in black striking one another. there is a roar and the both lower towards the buildings, smashing the taller ones to rubble
[21:34] 'Where have I seen those two pokemon before?' Felix thinks to himself as he he looks at the two legends battle.
[21:35] <@Dark> As the fall you see a boy sat on the back of the white pokemon, someone who seems to look like you but obviously not you. A flash of lightning and the shape of a man falls, and crashes into a fruit stand a few feet away...
[21:39] Felix and his pokemon slowly walk towards the place where the man fell.
[21:40] 'This has to be a dream.' Felix says when he finally gets to where the man fell.
[21:40] <@Dark> the sound of lightning and fire continue to sound out above you as you reach the fallen man, finding it to be the motionless body of Jack from Shadow City, his face and clothes covered in blood...
[21:43] Felix stares in shocked belief not quite believing what he is seeing. "Is he dead?" Felix asks himself.
[21:46] <@Dark> You pokemon whimper and the massive black pokemon flies overhead, a blast of lightning destroying a building as it does so and the white follows, vanishing from sight. In the wake, as if blown towards you, a black orchid falls from the sky and drifts down to rest on Jack's head, a black liquid dripping from its stem
[21:48] <@Dark> The black liquid drips down onto the floor and forms a pool of blackness the spreads around Jacks body until it begins to sink into the nothingness and a large shape rises
[21:50] <@Dark> it rises into a black shape that hovers above you, growing short arms and legs before simply hovering, not moving
[21:50] Felix acting mostly on instinct grabs for Jake's body before it can sink further ito the dark pit.
[21:52] <@Dark> You manage to grab his hand but its splits and tears into black smoke, leaving something cold and metal in you hands
[21:54] <@Dark> You find that it is a metal badge of a blood red R, large cracks running down its centre with somthing that could resmble a grinning face looking up towrads you
[21:55] "Where is he?" Felix asks the shadow figure before him slowly getting more angry with every second.
[21:56] <@Dark> The figure remains utterly still
[21:59] "What are and what is this place? Felix asks the shadow as his anger finally reaches its peak, the only thing holding him back being the simple fact that he ddoesn't like to act on anger.
[22:01] <@Dark> The figure again makes no sound but a voice sounds out around you, echoing with cruelness "Death is the end of hope and death allways comes"
[22:02] "And I say that's a load of bull!" Felix shouts back to the disembodied voice.
[22:02] <@Dark> "Why?"
[22:06] "You know good and well why. Death isn't the end of hope. It is the mere ending of one life. However the hopes of a person carries on to the next person and that on to the next."
[22:07] <@Dark> The voice burst out laughing, a cruel sound that seems to seep in vemon as i echos, suddenly seeming to come from the figure which has begun to raise again.
[22:09] <@Dark> "We shall see..." The voice grins as a face explodes onto the figure, two blood red eyes and a tooth filled grin that takes up the bulk of its body. The creature is a pokémon you can tell, but it seeps cruelty
[22:11] "Ya we will and I'll show what true hope is, so just wait...I'll be there." Felix says to the wierd pokemon, all feelings of fear gone.
[22:12] <@Dark> The shadow like pokemon howls in laughter and somthing seems to begin shaking in your bag
[22:14] Felix reaches into his bag to see what is shaking, while never taking his eyes off the shadow in front of him.
[22:17] <@Dark> You find a wooden object shaking and recognise it as the statue of a Celebi you had been given in Barce town. The shadow pokémon above you howls in rage as the statue explodes into light and suddenly everything around you seems to sudder and vanish. the burning city and howling darkness vanishing and being replaced by a beautiful forrest as the light dies and reveals a hoevering pokemon, its body bright pink and beautiful pink eyes seeming to study you
[22:20] Felix looks a bit out of it for a moment and takes a bit of time to look around to make sure he wasn't in some bizarre land with floating buildings before noticing the pokemon in front of him.
[22:21] "Um, hello?" Felix says to the pokemon in front of him once he realizes he isn't in the place he was in before.
[22:21] <@Dark> The pokemon hovers in mid air, its tiny wings flapping constently

[22:23] "You're not going to make buildings float and exploud are you?" Felix says and though it sounds like a joke, you can actually tell its a geniune question.
[22:25] <@Dark> "I am sorry you had to see that" The voice sounds, seeming to genually regret it "But it seems another is watching over you after you have travled with those you have travled with. One who wanted to take my power of time and use it to show you the cruelty of the world around you"
[22:26] <@Dark> The pokemon gestures to the forset around you with a small plant like hand "This is the world i have chosen to belive in"
[22:26] "Ya, I like this world much better than the other one." Felix says, finally at ease.
[22:28] <@Dark> "Yes...that world worries me...I belive that last bit however was intended more for me to see then you"
[22:31] "Well what ever that black thing was I made it a promise I'd show it what hope was. I guess I'll have to get stronger if I wannt to do that."
[22:32] <@Dark> "Yes" The voice sounds out as the pokémon drifts towards you "It is a very good thing to fight for"
[22:35] <@Dark> "Do you remember in Barce town when that man handed you this?" She says, holding up the wooden carving "That person you were traviling with took it, he was not meant to have it
[22:36] "Am, I the one meant to have it?" Felix says while looking at the beautiful wooden carving.
[22:39] <@Dark> "I am known as Celebi" The pokemon continued, holding the wodden carving to look at it "The guardian of the forrest. I have the power to travil through the whole of time but i have certain...connections to people in this time line. It is also very important because of events that are coming...you will be a part of it Felix"
[22:41] "You can always depend on me Celebi." Felix says before looking up at the night sky. "My mom once told me that the sky could turn black and everything could fall apart, but as long as there was at least one person willing to fight for the light, then it would never fade... is that true?"
[22:44] <@Dark> Celebi smiles as she looks up to the sky too "There is a night blacker then any coming, ones dear to the both of us will fall and the world may well end and my forrests die. But she is right, there is allways somthing worth fighting, trying and even worth dying for...so long as one man stands tall there will allways be hope in the spirit of man and pokémon alike"
[22:48] "Well then I'll make sure no matter what happens, I'm always standing. That way hope will always be available to people and pokemon alike."
[22:49] <@Dark> "Well put, in all of my time in this timestream only two poeple have ever spoken like that and I will aid you both to protect the harmony between people and pokémon. However" She gives a low laugh, a kind one that seems almost motherly as she rises up and a glow covers your pokemon "I'm afread that as a guradian of the forrest I do have some pride. Perhaps I may challange you to a battle, just to see how you fight"
[22:54] "Me and my pokemon would be honored to have a battle against you." Felix says while giving the celebi a slight bow.
[22:58] <@Dark> Celebi laughs kindly as she hovers in the air and does a twirl before with a flex of her thin plant like arms sends a set of small seed like shapes towards Anna
[22:58] <@Dark> The seeds hit into Anna, vanashing into her fur
[23:04] Anna ignores the seeds and runs to tackle the pink celebi. The tranpinch slowly runs up after Anna to attack the celebi as well.
[23:06] <@Dark> The tackle hits Celebi in the chest, sending her falling to the sky where the Tranpinch is waiting, its jaws clamping around the nature pokemon before it brakes free and flies back into the air, clearly hurt
[23:07] <@Dark> "Good!" She shouts before raising a hand towars Anna, where orbs of light that resemble lifeforce rise from the Eevee and are absorbed into her body
[23:07] how much damage?
[23:11] <@Dark> She rises up towards the air and is about to attack before flinching as she seems to get hit by pain from the bite wound Tranpinch has caused her, preventing her from attacking as she instictivly goes to place a hand over it
[23:14] Anna let's a battle cry before rushing the plant type again. Spirand charges after her trying to sneak attack the shiny pokemon again.
[23:14] <@Dark> Again your pokemon hits land home and the guardian of the forrest is injured but again she rises and another set of orbs are pulled from Anna into her body
[23:15] "What is that attack?" Felix asks as he sees the orbs of energy get absorbed into the celebi.
[23:17] <@Dark> "Humans have called it Leech seed" Celebi smiles "Its a way for nature to use your foes power for your own"
[23:18] "What a cool attack, can only you use it?" Felix asks curiously.
[23:19] <@Dark> "Those who can use plant life may use it. Now" Her voice suddenly seems to boom "Behold the true power of nature" She then rises into the air and, with a loud rush of wind, a sea of leaves being to rise into the air, spinning around her like some beautiful tornado of colours as they each begin to glow like the rainbow
[23:21] "Wow, so beautiful." Felix says as the swirling leaves fly. Even his pokemon agree even if they were going to get hit by the attack soon.
[23:22] <@Dark> Both your pokemon seem awe struck for a second before, with a laugh, Celebi claps its hands and the sea of glowing leaves explodes, forming to massive columnes which she bends in the air around her with the twirling of her arms, spinning around as if in middle of some wonderful dance, then, with a gesture, the two columnes turn and shoot right at your pokemonn
[23:26] Both pokemon brace themselves for the attack before the swirling leaves come into contact with both pokemon holding their ground. However right before the attack ends the pressure is too much for Spirand and he flies back, knocked out.
[23:28] <@Dark> As it falls, the leaves suddenly lose their power and drift slowly to the ground like a perfect autemn picture whilst Celebi hovers in the air, triwling around as if dancing
[23:28] "Good job, you did your best." Felix says as he picks up the defeated trapinch. "You may have beaten one of my pokemon but we can still win, Anna use tackle!"
[23:30] <@Dark> Anna nods and jumps towards Celebi but the small pokemon juts spins out the way in mid air in her strange dance. As the Eevee passes, another set of orbs pull from its fur and into Celebi's body
[23:32] "Wow, you're good Celebi." Felix says knowing he is about to lose the battle.
[23:34] <@Dark> "Course I am" She smiles before raising a hand, her jade eyes flash a deep violet and a wave of psychic power flies out towards Anna
[23:36] Anna tries to dodge it, but lacks the strength from the combined powers of the leech seed attack and the rainbow leaf attack. The attack collides with Anna and Felix closes his eyes briefly in defeat, though his smile never leaves.
[23:38] <@Dark> Celebi laughs as she spins in the air again before flying down above Anna and placing a glowing hand against the Eevee's head. A second later it is back on its feet jumping
[23:39] <@Dark> "Well done" Celebi smiles as to your pokemon as she drifts over and does the same for Trapinch
[23:40] "Well, I'm obviously not strong enough yet, but just you wait, one day I'll have the power to shine bright than anyone else, you can count on it." Felix says as he hugs his two pokemon to his chest.
[23:46] <@Dark> "Good" Celebi smiles "You will need thoughts like that for when you face what is coming. When the one you know as Jack first came to my forrest he thought the same, risking himself to protect my shirne from someone even though he had no reason to and swearing that he would gain streingth to help others. Now, the statue that you were given is connected to me and, though that man you were with took it, he was not of good heart and so i have taken it back. I will offer it back to you"
[23:49] "I met the Jack you're talking about. He gave me my eevee to start my journey."
[23:51] <@Dark> "Then keep him in mind" Celebi says, placing a hand on Eevee making it unclear which of you it is that she is talking to "Hes path has taken him to another region but he is still there to aid you should you need it...but i sense that he has his own horror coming...the one who gave you that image before knew it too"
[23:55] "He'll be okay, I'm sure of it." Felix says enthusiasticly. "Jack is an awesome trainer, I'm sure he can handle whatever is thrown at him. And if some dark voice wants to try to tell us otherwise we will just change what he sees as the future."
[23:57] "Yes of course" The nature pokémon nods "But now I'm afread our time is up. It is time for you to awaken and face the real world once more"
[23:58] "Will I ever be able to talk to you again?"
[00:00] <[1]Dark> "Perhaps" Celebi says flying back "But you must find your own way in the world, I can only help you when I am most needed"

[00:00] With that, there is a flash of light followed by blackness and you wake up in the bed you have been given in the Anime City Pokécenter, your pokemon waking up at exactly the same time as you
[00:02] Felix gives a yawn before getting up smiling. "Don't worry Celebi, I won't fail you." Felix says while looking out the window towards the forest.
[00:03] The window is open, despite you having closed it upon going to sleep, and on the windowsill sits the wooden carving of Celebi, a single leaf lying next to it...

[21:40] <@Dark> Anime City Gym
[21:42] <@Dark> You are stood outside of the gym, a large building that is made out of constent swirls and turns. There is not a single streight line carved into its body and even the pavement around it is bent and curved as if bent by some invisable tide
[21:44] <@Dark> Few people are walking in and out and you arnt sure if its due to it being early in the morning that there are so few people or if thats just the level of traffic in the area
[21:45] "I wonder if they specialize in normal types..." Felix says jokingly to Cora while loking at the gym.
[21:56] "I am not too sure. I guess we will just have to find out wont we." I smile at Felix as i wrap my arms around piplup and hold her close to my chest.
[21:59] <@Dark> You see a couple of people walk into a large church on the other side of the road. At their head, your recognise the women who had used the Metagross to save you in the forrest the day before"
[22:01] I start towards the church in an attempt to follow the familiar women. With my Togepi trailing behind my steps.
[22:04] I follow her into the Church and look around.
[22:05] Felix stays where he is instead and looks around the church-like place.
[22:05] <@Dark> The inside of the church is what you would expect, long isles of benches with peopl sat praying and candle light. However, at the back of the church behind where the priest is giving a lecture, the focal point is a massive stane glass window
[22:06] I walk down the isle and sit at the front pew. I place Piplup and Togepi next to me and pray for the Mighteyena.
[22:09] <@Dark> you can see the window behind you showing all the Pokemon stated through legend. The one ahead of you however you can not make out behind the priest
[22:11] <@Dark> The priest himself is sat hunched over the alter, seeming deep in thought
[22:11] Felix slowly begins gaining a headache at the sight of the painting though he tries his best to ignore it.
[22:12] I look round and search for Jane. My Togepi jumps of the bench and races behind the prist to look at the painting.
[22:14] <@Dark> The preist smiles at the Togepi before a Beldum desends from the church roof and nudges the pokemon off the alter. When it gets back to you...it looks visably shaken
[22:15] I pick it up and craddle it in my arms for comfort, and stare coldly at the Beldum
[22:16] <@Dark> "Bel.." the pokemon beeps before flying over your shoulder and moving to hover next to Jane, who has appeared behind you with a raised eyebrow "I'd keep your pokemon down here" She whispers
[22:17] Felix looks over at the exchange briefly before looking back at the painted window.
[22:18] "Why? Whats behind there?" I whisper back, feeling my Togepi trembling
[22:20] <@Dark> She smiles calmly as she places a hand upon Togepi's head, the pokemon instantly falling still and calming down "Its the picture of the dark times. Its hidden save for during mass because of the effect it seemed to start having on pokemon that saw it...especially younger ones"
[22:22] "Pictures of the dark times?"
[22:23] "Why would you have something like that in a church." I sigh as Piplup pokes Togepi.
[22:24] <@Dark> "If you wish to know, then perhaps you will join me?" She gestures to the chair beside her "mass will soon start and I'm sure you will learn a lot about the legends of this region"
[22:25] "Sure. Anything for a learning experience." I smile and take the two pokemon back a seat to sit next to Jane.
[22:26] "I'll stand if that's okay with you."
[22:26] <@Dark> Once you are sat, the Beldon gives a bleep before rising up and taking its watch post on the roof again
[22:27] <@Dark> "I suppose if you must..."
[22:28] <@Dark> Above you, the preist clears his throat before beginning to talk
[22:30] <@Dark> "Across the world, every region has a connection to its own set of legends, from johto to Shinno and Unova. Each tells of a diffrent founding and a dirffrent past but all can be connected to one pokemon" He holds up a hand to the figure at the top of the window behind you "Arceus"
[22:32] <@Dark> "The creature of all, born from an egg that existed before time and space itself. He created the lords of reality, Palkia of Space, Dialga of time and Giratina...with whome he placed the vital taks of maintaining the balance between reality itself"
[22:34] <@Dark> "He created the worlds and the stars with his sons, then left then created the first pokemon. He made Groudon to create land, the Goloms to shape it and Kyoga to manage the seas themselves"
[22:35] <@Dark> "Then he left his children to thirve and live...going into slumber after working so hard on his creation"
[22:35] <@Dark> He gestures towards the carving on the wall, showing an image of Arcause curled up in sleep in the centre of a thriving universe
[22:36] <@Dark> "However...there were those who disagreed with the order that lord Arceus had made"
[22:39] <@Dark> "As the first pokemon begun to evolve and breed" He gestures to a painting of a small pink, cat-like pokemon "The pokemon of reality, Giratina, begun to dispise the fact it had been hidden from view. For whilst it guarded reality, its pressence was not as keenly felt as that of its brothers and thus the people and poekmon that were growing to praise Arceus ignored him"
[22:39] <@Dark> "Then came the dark times. Then came the betrayal"
[22:40] <@Dark> People murmor around you as the candles suddenly change from their usual yellow glow to a deep red
[22:41] <@Dark> "Giratine abandonded its place and begun to sow herisy and hate within the minds of its brothers, turning many of them against the father. When Arceus awake from his slumber and came to see his children, he found them at war"
[22:41] Piplup and Togepi grip onto my shirt. "Isn't this supposed to be a church service?"
[22:41] <@Dark> There is flash of light and the window behind him is finally revealed
[22:44] <@Dark> massive images of black and white clash in a fury of death. reality seems to bend around the shapes of legenday pokemon of all shapes and sizes as the fabric of existance is destryoed. Space clashing with time, hope against fear, Yin agaisnt Yang. Its an image of total destruction and fear. In the centre, you can see the glowing shape of Arceus surrounded by a circle of plates as the snake like shape of Giratina surrounds it
[22:45] <@Dark> your pokemon whimper slightly at the sight of the picture
[22:46] "This is way to dark to be a church service." I complain and place my hands over the pokemons ears as best i could.
[22:47] <@Dark> "This is how our region was born" jane whispers, not taking her eyes of the painting as the priest points upwards
[22:48] Felix winces a bit as his headache flares at the sight of the painting.
[22:49] Togepi grips onto my hands as i try and pull them away.

[22:58] <@Dark> "Brother was sent agaisnt brother as war tore everything Arceus had created into oblivioin. Whilst the betrayer fought the creatre, his favored general-Darkrai- attacked the world of men in what is now known as the Goin region
[23:00] <@Dark> "Humanity had no choice in its involvment in the war of gods, Darkrai was without mercy in its annailation. We have all seen its work only recently in Shadow City have we not? The horror that Darkrai wought there?"
[23:01] <@Dark> A couple of people around you, including Jane, mumour in agreement
[23:03] <@Dark> "It was only when Arceus himself appeared before the primative people of the first Goin Region and gifted them with its power did the tide turn. Darkrai was sealed within the Shadow Crystal and his army scattered. Even Giratina the Betrayer apperaed to save his general but was finally struke down
[23:03] <@Dark> He gesutres to a final painting, showing Arceus stirking Giratina through the body with a glowing blade of light whilst men stand fighting black shapes
[23:06] <@Dark> "Giratina, the betrayer of Arceus, was defeated by man and pokemon alike! He was sealed away deep within another universe, forever sentenced to watch the world from afar and never be able to touch it"
[23:07] <@Dark> "The portal to this world is somewhere in the region, hidden from prying eyes"
[23:07] <@Dark> With a clap, the candles flicker back to their normal light and the window behind him returns to shadow
[23:09] I don't clap. I just stare blankly at the ceiling. Realising the window had dissapeared i rose. "Thank you for allowing me to sit with you. Now if you will excuse me."
[23:09] <@Dark> "the bond that formed between teh people of Goin and the pokemon they fought alongside agaisnt the armies of Giratina and Darkrai has never faded. To this day we remain the only region to be in completle harmony with the pokemon around us and we allways honour lord Arceus for his gift to us. He will return one day, when the night is darkest. But until then, remeber the past and live well"
[23:10] <@Dark> With that, he turns and leaves and Jane stands, not saying anything as she gestures towards the door
[23:15] Felix follows silently, trying to ignore his headache.
[23:15] I step out into the fresh hair and breath a sigh of relief.
[23:17] <@Dark> "I take it you found that...taxing?"
[23:18] "It was... different." Felix says quietly.
[23:18] "I don't know why. But i felt as though I was there. Watching the whole thing. I guess i am just not used to church." I laugh
[23:20] <@Dark> "The Goin region was born through a war between light and shadow" She sighs, I feel that evey time i go near a church "It is how we remember it. Still, we take comfort in the bond that it had given us and the pokemon around us. Thats what i sense most" She taps her head
[23:21] I laugh lightly and put my two pokemon onto the floor.
[23:24] <@Dark> "Now then...what brings you two to Anima City? Perhaps i can help you with it now you know a little more of our culture? i am the former Gym leader"
[23:24] "I'm here to try out a gym battle to see how I like them."
[23:26] <@Dark> She gives a chuckle before looking over to Amber "And you?"
[23:27] "Just to see what the culture is like... Maybe train a little."
[23:30] <@Dark> "well then" she gestures across the street to the Gym "how about we go and visit my daughter? I'm sure she will be more then happy to aid you in those aims"
[23:30] "I'll be happy to do so." Felix says looking at the gym.
[23:31] <@Dark> "Very well then" She casts an unual look at Felix, as if seeing somthing noone else can before turning and leading the way
