The Hunger

It won't go, that hunger and the force pushing onwards. My thoughts are extinguished by greater creatures urging me to do their bidding. So hungry, must regain energy quickly, I can't stop running at those two legged pink things. Tasty, thats what they are, fire, it scares me, but must not stop.

I shoot my weapon, it screams in protest as it churns out fleshborer beetles. The beetles strike my prey down. The pink thing cries and wails as it knows death will follow. More pink creatures come, but in metal boxes. The box fires at me but misses, destroying my fellow gaunts behind me.

That urging, it has finally stopped. Still hungry, I scream while running, I'm lost, nowhere to go, stuck in this place. I am doomed here, an open space, freedom in the jungle within. I've been blasted at, oh the pain, make it stop. One of my arms, its been blown off. Must keep trying to flee. Owwww! I scream desperatly as my right leg is blown to pieces.

Something is oozing from me. I am losing consciousnous. Something is looming over me, an armoured pink thing. He looks at me with evil blue eyes, breaks my jaw and crushes my fragile head, before himself is crushed by a rampaging Carnifex.

It's good, the madness shows through but gaunts are controlled by synapse, something along the lines of 'they are breaking my MIND!' might work a bit better, also maybe something for the Tyranid Prime or bigger creatures?
