The Hunger(pt 3)

'Be quiet, they'll here us',
'Yes broodlord, we'll be stealthly and quiet, they shall not hear us.'
'Let it stay that way then, we wait until the first 10 mycetic spores land then we ambush them behind their front lines.'
'Great we wait.'

These genestealers better not screw this up, thought the Broodlord flexing his claw. It had been weeks since he'd felt the warm dark blood on his talons and claws and was growing impatient. What was that, he spun around to see torch lights approaching his sewer tunnel. 'Be ready for some flesh stealers, get ready for the ambush.'
'Yes broodlord', all six of them scuttled off to ambush their victims.

He didn't want to alert them of his presence but this was neccesary. Humans turned into the tunnel to meet 6 hungry stealers and a broodlord. One screamed as a stealer pounced and bit it's vicim. A lasgun fired killing a stealer but the humans were over-run quickly leaving 5 mangled corpses to be eaten for the brood.

'Well done we get our meal while we wait.'
'How much longer Broodlord?'a stealer hissed.
'Now! we attack!!' the broodlord screamed as it burst from the sewer.
The brood rushed at the basilisks waiting for bigger creatures, ripping the crew to shreds.
'Let us cause more havoc!!Come on stealers!!'

It's good, I like it! Good to know there are other writers here now. Though, I like the primal intelligence thing, but there still needs to be the underlying effect of the other non synapse creatures are still relatively blank. You could go back to the tyrant with the "RAWR I AM MASTER BITCH!" but the rest should be driven on by forces they do no understand, just a need to be fufilled and then waiting for the next need. (This is how I think nids work, if i am wrong then i will apologize now)
