GURPS Negima/Pokemon Crossover Campaign

I will write one of these at the end of every session because I'm bored:

Conjack didn’t answer the voice as he stared at the sheet that had been handed to him, his eyes resting on each of the girls in turn, feeling cold as he struggled to take in the happy, innocent smiles of each of them as they looked up towards him. He had no idea how long he had been sat there simply looking at it, he knew which girls had been marked and how off by heart and yet he continued staring. As if he expected the marks to simply vanish and leave the girls unblemished. Yet the marks remained, and Conjack was forced to think of what he should be doing next.
“Iocus the Trickster” He muttered as he looked towards the name that had been written across the top, feeling a slither in the back of his mind as the presence gave a mutter of displeasure at the mention of the boy they had met earlier that day.
He had been unlike anything that Conjack had met in a long time, someone who had managed to be so much at one with the balance of his own heart that even the Darkness could get no reading on him, a feat that was practically impossible for any living life forms. Despite this however, he had been so full of arrogance, speaking of the recent outbreak of ‘bugs’ and everything that had followed with nothing more than ‘shit happens’. It had disgusted him to see. And then, as if part of a sick joke, he had handed him a sheet of all the girls in 5-A and claimed that it was his view on who was going to die and toyed with the barbarian over the life of his pet.
You should have killed him on the spot…I know that you wanted to…
Practically every girl in 5-A was marked out for death with the exception of Yue, Kazumi and Natsumi each marked with a single red x in the right corner of their picture. One interesting thing he did note however was that Makie and Ayaka had been marked in the left corner, however if this meant something or was simply an accident he had no way of telling. Sayo had been marked with a smiley face because, or so Iocus had claimed, he didn’t know the fate of the girl, obviously unaware that she was already dead. Other than that…there was nothing but the promise of death…
Now you know better than that Conjack…what of this Setsuna? Do you sense what comes from this symbol?
“Yes…” He muttered, answering the voice without thinking as he felt something pass over him by simply looking over the red icon that had been printed in place of the usual X upon Setsuna’s picture. It was an icon that he had not seen in centuries and had hoped to never see again and he could only pray that he had misread it.
But you know what it means already…don’t you…
Conjack pulled his glasses off with a sigh and rubbed his eyes, trying to ignore the voice as it spoke the truth that he never wanted to hear, like it always did. He had been able to feel it grow upon his mind in the last few days, feeding upon the anger that he had felt after Kaede’s death and then towards this Iocus…not that he had been helping his own case by willingly allowing it to take a marginal control of his body in order to aid Hrar. It had not been something that he had wanted to do but something told him that he needed to gain the brute’s trust and fast if he was to stand a chance of surviving what was coming…or to save those that he had now been promised would die.
Looking back down at the sheet, his hand rested upon the picture of Kaede for a second before he stood and folded it up, placing it into his pocket as he looked towards the clock. 11 O’clock at night…
Tomorrow he would have to find a way to speak to Negi about what was happening…he had to find a way to stop any more from dying, no matter what the cost. But first he would have to speak to the one most dear to him in the Academy, one who had been marked out for death along with the others. If he was going to save any of them it would be her.
And so, with a whoosh of cold wind, Conjack melted into the shadows of his room and became one with the night, reforming from the shadows in the house of his apprentice within a couple of seconds…

Domino relaxed as the meeting ended, his body safe in his isolation chamber. As he did so, a screen lit up, displaying the fact that there was an incoming call, number witheld.
Only two people know this number Domino thought, and swiftly answered the call. It was his lord, cloaked in shadow as usual.
"Domino, good to see you. I have a job for you."
"Of course, lord. What would you have me do?"
"I need you to give Iocus a hand with those ones he's observing."
Domino frowned, his usually perfect features marred by this ugly expression. "And what does my idiot brother need this time?"
"He needs to seem more powerful than he is, so I need you to read their minds and tell him what's going on. The space/time coordinates should be coming through now."
Sure enough, the coordinates came through exactly as the sentance was finished, displaying a place in their curent target world, Q6R392, in a place called 'Mahora', which they had been concentrating on recntly, for some reason. Domino sighed.
"Mahora again, my lord?I know it is not my place to question, but why are we focusing on such a small area?"
The figure on the screen seemed to get darker. "It is not your place to question, you are right. However, if you must know, we target here because it is a Nexus of Quanta, one of the few."
Domino's eyes widened breify, before returning to their usual enigmatic set. "Very well, my lord, I shall set to it breifly. Domino out."
With that, the call ended, and Domino set out into the chaos of existence.

Dude, you're fighting 'Octagonal Circle' (they're genuinely called that), the resident quirky miniboss squad. You're not supposed to be able to beat them in a straight up fight yet. But unless you're thick and you take them on in a one-on-one duel, you might be able to beat them. Might.

Plus, Centrum. 'Nuff said. One does not beat Centrum, one runs the shit away.

By the time the Octagonal Circle have gone to town, Centrum'll be the least of your worries!

Especcially if their actions result in the darkness being released...

If that ends up happening, there will be a series of five words that will very appropriate: "Centrum Declares All Out War!"

And the darkness will reply "This is not war! This is Pest control!"

Fair enough. The darkness wouldn't be much more that a pest to Centrum, the multi-Quantal nation that has thousands of 780 point people on it's payroll as basic agents. No joke. I've got the PDF of the 4e Infinite Worlds sourcebook, and they don't fuck around. Ever.

I've got a way out of that. Travel back in time a week, kill everything we see. Hope the timeline shift takes us away far enough that they can't get us.

Aye, Centrum are pretty hardcore. Moving an entire universe isn't a drastic manoeuvre.

Two things:
1) With what time travel devices?
2) What makes you think Centrum can't get to any Quanta?

On the subject of point two, while the sourcebook says, specifically that you can't jump more than two Quanta at a time and people haven't been more than two Quanta away from their home world, what says you couldn't just jump two Quansta, then two Quanta again, then whatever! Also, my quanta theory means you'd just stay in the same Quanta from a one week time jumo, so... Yeah. Plan killed!

We'll find a way to steal some. Mass ceremonial magic maybe?

"or, if such echoes exist, they are in a quantum unreachable from Homeline" (Campaigns, 542), "If a timeline shift takes the world you are on out of projector range (Q3-Q7 for Homeline; Q6-Q10 for Centrum), you’re stuck!", (Campaigns, 546). Also, major shifts change entire quantum levels - gives a few examples of when Centrum has moved Homeline echoes closer to Q8.

[22:13] <@Dorian> Where we last left off, Hrar had just dodged an attack from Conjack, who was shifted into Darkness form. He had had to do this as he was attempting to force the Darkness to help him find his pet pterodactyl, Quex.

[22:14] <Dark> "Foolish maggot" the darkness snarls as it melts into the shadows, shooting across the roof and striking out towards you with its claws
[22:14] <Ven> I run around the corner wondering what has happened , apon seeing them i summon my keyblade
[22:14] <Spiritcurse> I retaliate by shining the beam towards the demon, rasing my maul above my head.
[22:15] <Dark> The darkness shrikes in pain as the beam hits it before striking at you
[22:17] <Ven> "wha-Heartless!" i run forward and strike at Conjack
[22:17] <Spiritcurse> I raise my shield up into the way of the tentacle, which flashes brightly as it touches me.
[22:19] <Dark> Two snakes swarm from the roof as the arms retract, one staring at Hrar whilst the other lunges fowrad and bits down
[22:22] <Spiritcurse> One impacts with my chest, but I merely grunt with the pressure.
[22:25] <Dark> The shadows morph around Hrar as he strikes out, leaving nothing but walll for his blow to hit
[22:25] <Spiritcurse> I swing my maul towards the demon, but merely smash a foot-wide hole in the wall behind, allowing daylight to stream in.
[22:26] <Dark> As the light pours in, the darkness shrikes and slips away along the ceiling, bathing the entire far side of the corridor in pure darkness
[22:26] <Dark> The snakes snarl at you
[22:27] <Spiritcurse> "Demon, the wall comes down unless you start working with me. And you don't like light, do you?"
[22:27] <@Dorian> The comotion from the fight has evidently attracted some comotion, and a young chinese girl with two pony-tails in a ceremonial dress runs around the corner.

[22:28] <Dark> The snakes shot up as she appears, whispering the girls name to each other "Fei Ku..."
[22:29] <@Dorian> "Wha...?" Her mouth and eyes widen in disbelief as she takes in the scene before her.
[22:30] <Dark> "leave girl" the snakes snarl "This is not your fight!"
[22:30] <Spiritcurse> "Yes, you could get hurt."
[22:31] <Dark> Taking the oppotunity, one of the snakes lunges at Hrar's back
[22:31] <@Dorian> "What's going on here, Mr. Darkright? Why is the wall broken?"
[22:32] <Spiritcurse> "It got in my way..." I growl.
[22:32] <Dark> "Darkright is not here child! This fool summond me and tries to rule that which he does not understand""
[22:32] <@Dorian> Conjack's snake misses Hrar by a hair.
[22:33] <Ven> i turn after being dumbstruck i run over to the person
[22:34] <@Dorian> She turns to you, "Do you know what's happening here-aru?"
[22:35] <Ven> "get outta here!"
[22:35] <Ven> i pause at her
[22:35] <Spiritcurse> "I warned you..." I tell the demon, then smash another huge chunk out of the wall. The gap widens another couple of feet.
[22:35] <Ven> "your not botheed a snake person and some guy are fighting?"
[22:35] <@Dorian> "Why should I-aru? I'm perfectly capable of defending myself."
[22:35] <Dark> Realising what Hrar is doing, the shadows sweep fowrad and claws swing out
[22:36] <@Dorian> "And no, I'm not-aru."
[22:36] <Ven> "fine but i am gonna stop this"
[22:36] <@Dorian> "Don't worry, this happens about every other week here-aru."
[22:36] <Ven> i run forward and swing my keyblade at Conjack
[22:36] <@Dorian> "We're used to it."
[22:38] <Ven> i grunt  and jump ackwards
[22:39] <Dark> As Karm swings down, one of the snakes swings around and shoves him, causing him to miss his blow. It then retracts and hisses loudly. "Light worhshiping maggots are multiplying like maggots!"
[22:41] <Spiritcurse> With another mighty blow, I cause the wall to shatter and collapse. Light pours through the now open wall, as I realise that there was a window there all along.
[22:41] <@Dorian> "Woah, this is getting serious." Ku Fei mutters, as the hole Hrar has smashed reaches it's pinacle at the level of 'No Wall'
[22:41] <Dark> The snakes howl in sheer agony as they swing around, the tenticals around them tearing massive chunks from the plaster as they retract to the very courner. THe snakes howl again before falling still and simply stairing at you from what little darkness remains in the corridor
[22:42] <Spiritcurse> "BRING. ME. MY. PET."

[22:43] <Dark> "Pathertic cattle" The snakes snarl, albet more silently "You can not control me..."
[22:43] <Spiritcurse> "But I can hurt you quite a lot, as we've seen."
[22:44] <@Dorian> Ku sighs, and takes out a phone. After hitting 3 on quick-dial, she puts the phone to her ear and says the following: "Mana? Yeah, it's Ku. Mr. Darkright has gone bad again-aru. We'll need your help."
[22:44] <Dark> "As expected of sun worshippers...you brag about being better then all yet you never fight alone and never in an enviroment that isnt your own...hipocrite"
[22:45] <Spiritcurse> "Not my fault. I didn't need these others, and neither did you. You couldn't face up to the light."
[22:46] <Dark> "Nor could you last in the dark..."
[22:46] <Spiritcurse> "Well, we'll need a rematch at some point."
[22:46] <Dark> The snakes laugh, before pausing, as if they can sense somthing
[22:47] <Dark> "Conjack beilieves that I will help you...That you can convince me..."
[22:47] <Spiritcurse> "What can you feel, demon?"
[22:47] <Ven> "WHATS GOING ON HERE!!" I shout
[22:47] <Ven> "what are you?"
[22:47] <Spiritcurse> "TECHNICALLY, DEMON WORSHIP, BUT LET'S NOT LET THAT NEWS GET OUT!"
[22:47] <Dark> One of the snakes snarls at you whilst the other ingnores you
[22:48] <@Dorian> "Don't get so worked up-aruyo." Ku says to noone in particular.
[22:48] <Ven> i glare at hara
[22:48] <Spiritcurse> "Well, you started shouting."
[22:48] <Ven> i point my keyblade at Conjack
[22:49] <Dark> Abruptly the other snake hows with laughter "I can sense your pet...it is weak and fresh..."
[22:49] <Ven> "you are you a heartless?"
[22:49] <Ven> "and fangs off pichu"
[22:49] <@Dorian> At this point, Pichu pokes it's head around the corner.
[22:49] <Spiritcurse> "You mockery does you no favours, demon. Bring my pet to me."
[22:49] <Dark> "DONT INSULT ME MAGGOT!" the snake howls in rage "Thos worthless pests are nothing but parasites feeding of our power"
[22:50] <Ven> i laugh
[22:50] <Dark> "Find us funny do you child?"
[22:51] <Ven> "yea"
[22:51] <Ven> "i have seen your kind before"
[22:52] <Dark> The snake merly chuckules before rising upward to look at Fei Ku over your heads "Any input? or are you going to just keep stairing at us like an idiot?"
[22:52] <Dark> "I doubt it" The other snake snarls as the first asks the question
[22:52] <@Dorian> "Nah, I'm just waiting for Mana-aru."
[22:53] <Ven> i hold out my hand as if too protect her
[22:53] <Dark> The snake blinks at the action, and laughs as they both look back to Hrar, but say nothing
[22:53] <Spiritcurse> "We may wish to move. I doubt they'll be too impressed with what we've done to the place."
[22:53] <Ven> "who?"
[22:54] <Dark> "You say it like I am meant to care about what those fools think..."
[22:54] <Spiritcurse> "Anyone."
[22:54] <Ven> "oh ok"
[22:55] <Ven> "fine" i point at Conjack " can you turn back you less annoyin that way"
[22:57] <Dark> "Hes the one who wanted me released before my time" The snake snarls at Hrar
[22:58] <Ven> "well change back" i laugh " at least then i can take you seriousily"
[22:58] <Spiritcurse> "I did nothing. I just want my pet back.
[22:58] <Dark> The snakes snarl and snap their jaws open and shut a couple of times before meliting into the darkness and vansihing
[22:59] <Ven> "oh good"
[22:59] <Spiritcurse> "Much better. Now where is he?"
[22:59] <Ven> "stay calm"
[23:00] <Dark> If you want your pet maggots..." seeming to echo around you "Head to the roof"
[23:01] <Dark> You then hear the sound of slithering and then silence
[23:01] <Ven> "that was....direct"
[23:02] <Ven> "erm your friend still hasnt turned up..." i say to Ku
[23:02] <Spiritcurse> I turn and head to the roof, fully aware that I don't know the layout of the school. I figure I'd make it there eventually.
[23:03] <@Dorian> "Don't worry, she'll be here soon, although she may not be needed now that Mr. Darkright isn't here."
[23:04] <Ven> i turn to darkright " what was that about?"
[23:05] <@Dorian> You notice that even though the Darkness isn't around, neither is Darkright.
[23:05] <Ven> i stare blackly at where he was stood

[23:06] <Ven> i start to walk out and wink at Ku just before i leave
[23:09] <@Dorian> Ku doesn't seem to notice you, staring slightly blankly at the now non-existant wall.

[23:11] <@Dorian> As Karm and Hrar reach the roof, you both notice that a large section of the roof is obscured by a fumagation tent.
[23:12] <Ven> "odd place for that"
[23:12] <Ven> "hmm"
[23:12] <Ven> i walk towards it
[23:12] <Dark> A nearby vent fall apart an a black snake slips out, darting into a shadow
[23:12] <Spiritcurse> "Why would you camp on a roof?" I mutter out loud, then walk closer.
[23:12] <Ven> i raise a eyebrow
[23:13] <Ven> "thats not a camping tent"
[23:13] <Ven> "its for something else"
[23:13] <Spiritcurse> "Feasting?"
[23:14] <Dark> The snake chuckuls to itself
[23:14] <@Dorian> As you get close to the tent, you notice that it is marginally incorpreal, although that is rectified after around five seconds

[23:14] <Spiritcurse> "Shamanism?"
[23:14] <Ven> "hahaha"
[23:14] <Ven> "nope destroying bugs and vermin if i am not mistaken"
[23:14] <Spiritcurse> "Well, what else would you use a tent for?"
[23:15] <Spiritcurse> "Why not use a hunting party?"
[23:15] <Ven> "a bit small for a whole hunting party"
[23:15] <Ven> "and you dont hunt bugs with a hunting party"
[23:16] <Spiritcurse> "You havn't seen the bugs where I grew up..."
[23:16] <Ven> "no but i have seen very big bugs on my travels"
[23:17] <Dark> You hear the sound of grunts of pain as the sound of slithering fills the air and I rise from the shadows, avoiding keeping out of the light
[23:17] <Dark> "I hate bugs..."
[23:17] <Spiritcurse> "Until you've seen them eat people, you haven't seen bugs."
[23:18] <Spiritcurse> "Also, we should go check it out."
[23:18] <Ven> "hahah yeah i have " i mutter darkly "and what do you like?"
[23:19] <Ven> "and stop staring at pichu please"
[23:19] <Dark> I say nothing as i watch them, my eyes glowing a bright blue as the darkness around me seems to slip into a mist and my body  absorbs it
[23:20] <Ven> "hmm nice trick there, you fully humanish again?"
[23:20] <Dark> "Ask me later.." I grunt, winching as i open my eye to the light too much
[23:21] <Ven> i grunt
[23:21] <Ven> i walk towards the tent and open the door/flap
[23:21] <Spiritcurse> Readying my maul, I walk in behind him.
[23:21] * Dark slaps Dorian's bottom and grins cheekily
[23:22] <@Dorian> As you touch the tent, it dissapears, leaving a rether confused pterodactyl in it's wake.
[23:22] <Dark> I stay my distance, watching
[23:22] <Spiritcurse> "QUEX" I bellow with delight, causing a faint tremor to stir the air.
[23:22] <Ven> "odd" i turn " found your pet"
[23:23] <Spiritcurse> "I'd spotted him! COme here Quex!"
[23:24] <Ven> i let the bird past
[23:24] <@Dorian> An indeterminable male voice echoes out of nowhere, "So, you found your pet? Good job, man. Real nice, you know? Oh, by the way, you might want to know this: one is now two. Effervo told me to tell you that, yeah? Real spooky, ain't it? Just like I said, yeah?"
[23:24] <Dark> An inhuman snarl emits from me, recognising the voice
[23:25] <Ven> "sigh" i look to the sky and mutter " why me"
[23:25] <Spiritcurse> "I can see where this is going..."
[23:25] <Ven> "show yourself" i shout
[23:26] <@Dorian> "Nah, man. Got a job to do, can't be getting tied down with, like, people, yeah? Gotta go, dudes! Bye"
[23:27] <Spiritcurse> "Oh, you sun-damned BASTARD."
[23:27] <Dark> "Pathetic..." the darkness mutters in my head, where no other can hear it
[23:27] <Ven> i use my ability to fly to jump into the air and slowly desend looking around for the voives master
[23:27] <Ven> voices*
[23:28] <@Dorian> As he glides, Karm spots nothing in the way of a source for the voice.
[23:28] <Dark> "Fool...The voice is long gone" the darkness mutter too me
[23:28] <Ven> "worth a shot"
[23:29] <Ven> i shout from above them
[23:32] <Ven> well you got you "pet back now what?
[23:32] <Spiritcurse> "I did, and no I'm happy."
[23:33] <Dark> "Cost me enough to get it" I mutter as I clutch my head. "Eva wont be happy with me..."
[23:33] <@Dorian> As you are talking, a young blonde woman with long hair wearing a traditional schoolgirl's outfit, an open black hoodie, and glasses walkes onto the roof.
[23:34] <Dark> "You..." I mutter, recognising her as someone I saw after leaving Hrar to find his pet
[23:36] <Ven> "oh hello"
[23:37] <@Dorian> To everyone except Karm, the woman suddenly, through her seductive motions and her pure beauty, seems to be the best looking peron on the planet at the monent.
[23:37] <Spiritcurse> "Welcome."
[23:39] <@Dorian> "Hello, boys. What's happening?" She says, a maniacal grin coming over her face.
[23:39] <Ven> i stare at Conjack and Hrar and laugh at their expressions
[23:39] <Spiritcurse> "Would you care to accompany me on a hunt sometime? Maybe we could talk more then." Through changes in stance, I make myself look even stronger.
[23:39] <Dark> "be carefull Jacky..." The darkness whisper to me, its voice low and rumbiling but I ignore it
[23:40] <Ven> "hahaha may you grace us with a name?"
[23:41] <@Dorian> "My name's Ruina, of the Octagonal Circle. And all of you are?"
[23:41] <Ven> "Karm"
[23:41] <Dark> "Conjack"
[23:41] <Dark> "Silence fool" The darkness snaps at me
[23:42] <Spiritcurse> "Hrar, at the service of you and your tribe."
[23:43] <@Dorian> "Well, then, boys, howsabout a little fun?" Her smile widens, and a faint red glow outlines her.
