Also, fuckheug explosions for next to no FP are right out. I mean, you could always buy off the TL 0 and get some technological magic to power a fireball. That's what I enjoy doing. Oh, you... you... I don't even know any more. The GM in me hates what you do to systems with every fibre of my being, but the minchkin in me wants to give you a hug whilst trying to one-up what you do. OFC, I still think that 180 points to hit everything everywhere ever with 1 point of cosmic corrosion damage 300 times a second for ever is the most broken thing I ever thought of. And the munchkin in me was satisfied. Now, all I need to do is out-GM you... yeah, never gonna happen.

I get the exact same. My internal player says "Sure... but only for this campaign", my internal GM says "Look, fuck off, me", and my internal munchkin says "Come on, he'll one-up you, get reading". It's horrible.

And sure you will. If you must know, my weakness when I GM is that I can't do romance very well. Hell, I can't in real life, I get by on Jess thinking autism is cute. Which I guess it is.

It's absolute hell, isn't it? Well, except when you find that one combination and use it to near perfection. That moment, right there, is actually rather satisfying.

Wait, romance? You mean that one thing I've been trying to get done right for fucking ages in this campaign? Well, I know what I'm reading soon. Also, so we're on even ground, the weakness I've got when I GM is that, if it's not epic and OTT, my brain runs out of ideas five minutes in.

Oh, there are some points when they all agree, and I end up with something really nice, flavourful and powerful. It's not often. The whole 0.72^[whatever you can get away with] thing kind of made me hate myself for a while.

You've pulled it off well - there aren't many games I've been in where I genuinely care about the person in question. And it helps that, consciously or not, you picked out the one I would actually want, were she real. I can usually handle the lower aspects of games quite well - I actually like the thing that no matter what level you are, a stab in the neck will probably kill you. I dunno, bit of realism? Sense of risk? Something about that I guess. I tend not to even have major plot hooks, just various organizations and a plan for each. After every game week, check if the player's actions would in any way affect each plan, if not, advance it by a week, if so, evaluate. That way, I get thrown plot hooks by them. Yes, which are also me. Compartmentalized Mind 10 - planning only, in GURPS terms.

Evangeline is too sinister, normality is fun. Nodoka seems too angry, which isn't good. Konoka cooks, heals, and seems fairly submissive, all of which are good.

Can I have a list of each domain likely to fall under the control of the sun? Basically, all those open to me.

Magically, Light, Fire, and Healing. Cosmically, any concept related to the sun. Sound good? Of course, the Darkness gets the opposites. Just for a whole Yin-Yang thing.

Oh, and why set him up with Nodoka? I mean, I'd LIKE to set everyone up with someone (one [two, heh] down, several to go!) but, tbh, Nodoka is still REALLY into Negi, as she has been since chapter... what, 3? 4? Perfect. I've worked out how to simulate my fire spells, and how to even build in the method for slowly getting better at them. 36 FP (Pact, Words only) and Word of Power: Fire. Takes 6 hours to fully recharge, then I get a free Word use. Sadly, I only get to tell it about 3 things - my current friends/foes, roughly what I want to happen, and that I'm very grateful pleasedon'tkilleverythingohgodno.

An exposion, unnatural, excessive, rocked the plaza, devastating corpse, venemorph, building, even the floor was not unscathed, falling through into the caverns beneath. As the smoke and debris began to clear, the corpses burning, a strange sight came into view. Several insects, much larger than normal, had created a barrier around a small area, protecting whatever was inside. As the bugs disintegrated, burnt to cinders, seven figures, indistinguishable in the smoke, stood, and walked, treading air as if it were solid ground, towards the World Tree, where an eighth figure, diminuitive compared to all except one of the seven stood, unmarred by the explosion.

The smoke, clearing, revealed the eight figures, now stood in a ceremonial arrangement: Octagonal Circle. Aperiant, stood in the middle of their arrangement, the others surrounding him from behind, raised his hand. The World Tree, intact after even the explosion, suddenly shattered, leaving a large, ornate metal door, emblemed with a key hole, surrounded by three yin-yang symbols, in it's place.

Aperiant, summoning his Keyblade, a digital code-key-like affair, raised the 'blade up, leveling it at the key hole on the door. The end of the blade snapped open, into three points, each ending in a gem, one clear as day, one purest red, and one deepest blue. The three gems, shining like newly born stars, aligned with the yin-yang symbols before fining beams of light at them, each their respective colours. As the beams struck the symbols, the symbols flashed breifly before fading away, taking the crystals with them. Aperiant, focusing his power through his Keyblade, fired a beam of purest white light at the key hole, blowing the door away in the process, leaving only a door frame with light pouring from it, a single, robed figure sillhuetted in the doorway. Zanton smiled.

[20:29] <%Dark> I say nothing as i move to a high position and look down at the people below me, my face blank and void of expression
[20:31] <%Spiritcurse> "Wow... They got organized fast."
[20:33] <%Karm> i run to Pichu and pick him up as he crosses his arms annoyed and shocks me lightly
[20:34] <%Dark> A hiss under my breath as a snake lowers from my shoulders and sniffs at a patch of the dired blood

[20:42] <@Dorian> As Hrar swoops for the portal and Karm searches for Nodoka, Chao walks up to the portal, Eva next to her, and beckons for the three of you to make your way over there.

[21:42] <@Dorian> The figures fly down, landing in front of you, blocking the way to the portal. Octagonal Circle, as well as another man, elderly, robed, and frail, yet somehow still beyond infinitely threatening.

[21:43] <%Dark> At the sight of the man, the snakes explode into a chours of hissing and snarling whilst Conjack is utterly silent
[21:43] <%Karm> I summon my keys and clash them together several times in a circluar motion sending sparks out
[21:43] <%Spiritcurse> "Politeness is worth a try." I also step forward. "A group of people who would like to go through this portal, excuse us."
[21:45] <@Dorian> "Hmm..." The man ignores you, "A cave man, a keyblader, a darkling, a mage knight, a martial artist, and multiple mages of various different disciplines. This should be fun."

[22:19] <%Dark> Seeming to snap back into reality, a pair of clawed black hands grab Eva and Chachazero in an anything but gentle metherd as Black wings erupt from myy back and I drag them into the air, holing them to my chest as the Heartless swarm around me
[22:39] <@Dorian> The fire of the gods roars, and consumes the area around Octagonal Circle and the man, burning away at the very fabric of reality.
[22:40] <@Dorian> Unfortunately, it also catches the portal in it's area.
[22:42] <%Dark> The snakes writh in agony as I am hit by the light of the fire, my arms sqeezing aorund the girls i am carrying as I shoot upwards
[22:42] <@Dorian> Chao and the Dean are stunned by the flame, whilst Asuna, Ku, and Negi, are already preparing for them to reemerge. Negi looks back at you three, "Go! We'll hold them off until the fires die down!"

[22:53] <@Dorian> The flames suddenly form into a near-perfect dome, before billowing away, leaving Octagonal Circle, minus Iocus and Valetudo, in battle stances, whilst the man in the robes, now with one sleeve charred off.
[22:53] <%Dark> Heartless swarm around you as karms grabs her, their dot like eyes keeping on both the man and Nodoka whilst the rest swarm around Conjack, Eva and Chachazero

[22:54] <%Spiritcurse> The lasers on my suit click into place, targeting the eyes of the man.

[22:55] <@Dorian> Octagonal Circle swing into action, moving to intercept Conjack and Karm, whilst the man blasts his robes off with a small energy wave, revealing kung-fu gear underneath, "All right, then."
[22:55] <%Dark> The Heartless give at an inhuman scream as they shoot out, their claws ready to defend their masters
[22:56] <%Spiritcurse> "We going to fight like gentlemen? No powers, no magic, just our hands, mauls, and computer guided lasers?"
