In fairness, I didn't. I wanted the snipers to, well, snipe. As in, all of them aim for the head. And preferably wait until I was attacking, so they could kill in the confusion. Plus, silencers wouldn't have hurt. Who trained these guys, Khallos?

I believe in fairness in battle. But since Chuck Norris and the US Army were otherwise engaged, I figured that a few snipers would even the odds. Since I only got a single sniper who seems to have been dropped on her head as a child, I'm feeling slightly cheated. Plus, it was to the death, and they ran away. We're still on.

In all fairness, Mana hadn't actually been payed yet, so Konoka gave her ab0ut 2K Yen to get her to shoot once at someone who wasn't one of you lot. And she did. It's a shame Konoka forgot to take her 'Sniping 101' and her 'Dealing with Mercenaries 101' classes. She forgot to request the silencer or the head shot. Oh, and Aperiant is actually wearing ARMOR, like the sensible person (mouse) that he is. Make sense now?

Mana does stuff for money yes and follows orders. But she has commen sense...she is not some two year old that you need to spell out everything to.

True. But any sniper who doesn't understand the concept of "get an AP round, aim for the motherloving head or we'll all die" when told to kill doesn't really have a place in any real paramilitary army.

Yeah, but Sandy don't do no one-on-one, does he? He's basically the sergeant, on the front lines, a shitton of battle experience, and knows that fair fights are for wusses and idiots. Aperiant is the colonel, knows his stuff, respected among the troops, and fucking ace when it gets down to it, but has forgotten his days as a sergeat, and has taken up a little gentleman's code, of sorts.

Remind me when we get back to send Mana to the training grounds and to have the other snipers force injected with caffeine and speed. So... she wants paying extra to do the bare minimum expected of her to save the lives of everyone she cares about. That doesn't sound like the actions of an ally... And with the status as it is, I see only one other option.

Well, if she wants to play, she only has to ask. I mean, I'm gonna be introducing a few new characters in Act 2 anyway, what's one more? I'll tell you what it is, it's one more person who gets to play the campaign! Also, remember the whole "Noone tell Asuna that Takahata is a bad guy" thing? Yeah, same with letting Cam use the large guns. Or anyone without training, for that matter.

Indeed. Higher BL than weight is always fun. Especially if you get it through straight out ST. And ESPECIALLY if you're playing a SM +8 upwards character (20% ST cost! Woo!), where ST gets, let's face it. batshit. As in, 403d+2015 Swing dmg batshit. 400 ST, Brawling @ DX+2, and Weapon Master (Unarmed) there, btw. Yes, that is actually doable for 850 points. Win, much? Oh, and Act 2 starts when you leave for Magicus Mundus. When you get there, there's gonna be a little group of friends (the others) waiting for you. Friends of Nodoka's buddies. Jack knows who I mean by 'Nodoka's buddies'
